Setting, the accomdation, the freedom for young children to explore. Each of the accomdations was exactly how I'd hoped. There were 20 of us all split but the accomdations were within minutes walking distance of each other. We stayed for the whole weekend but on the Saturday had a party at the showmans which was a perfect end to the weekend, many happy memories shared by everyone in a perfect setting. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying 💙

The location was excellent and very friendly staff. The lodge was very clean, modern and had all the facilities we needed.
Only a short walk away was Cheddar village where we shopped at sainsbury's for some essentials. On the Sunday we went to cheddar car boot sale which is actually a very large market too.
Behind the lodge was a small river where we sat on a log and watched the trout and ducks, we even saw kingfishers flying past.
We all loved our stay and will go back.

The property was quiet and very private. We weren’t overlooked by anyone and the only people around were the farmers (and the cows)…..who all left us in peace to enjoy our break away with the dogs.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Very cosy lodge for our family after a long journey. Lovely setting just minutes away from Silver-zone parking at Bristol airport.
Would definitely recommend
Stayed here last September and enjoyed the whole experience so re-booked this June. handy for a layover for Bristol Airport before or after our flights. Arrow Cars come recommended and provide shuttles to and from the Airport approx 2 Km away. The lodge was roomy and spacious with a double and 2 single beds. A separate kitchen with plenty of tea coffee, chocolate and handy snack bars for breakfast. Overall very happy with our stay. Would book again but direct to property next time.
Location perfect for a wedding we were attending at Coombe Lodge nearby. The staff were lovely annd allowed us to check in early and leave our bags given we would be at the wedding all day. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. Easy entrance after wedding straight to our room with a door code. Free parking right outside. Brilliant value for money and really convenient for Bristol Airport too.
Perfect for an overnight stay after or before a flight. 10 minute walk from the terminal building. Price was very good too - cheaper than anywhere nearby. I have previously stayed at the Lodge, which is next door. I would choose either in the future.
