All rooms and apartments have free WiFi throughout. Booked for an early flight at Bristol Airport, the location was perfect. The accommodation was spotless and exceeded our expectations.
Cheddar
Tor Farm Lodge is a charming cottage located 3.5 miles from Cheddar Gorge. Set on a country lane, it has a garden, terrace, hot tub and access to seasonal outdoor pool.
The cottage enjoys a peaceful setting looking onto the beautiful Somerset countryside. The pretty terrace has a barbecue and a dining area. Interiors feature pleasant, modern décor.
Comfy beds, amazing scenery, friendly staff, and hot tub topped it all off
Cheddar
Set 30 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station, 30 km from Bristol Cathedral and 31 km from Bristol Zoo Gardens, Sherwood Lodge offers accommodation situated in Cheddar. The accommodation is 28 km from Ashton Court, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The lodge is located on a very nice and calm camping site in Cheddar. The owners are very friendly and you can see that they love what they are doing. It's a short walk to the center of Cheddar where you will find a very nice bakery, supermarket and butcher. We really enjoyed our stay in this lodge and with a huge cup of coffee we enjoyed our view from the terrace to the mendip mountains. :-)
Bristol
Featuring mountain views, The Shepherd’s Nest features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 17 km from Ashton Court. Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, skiing and cycling. Quiet and private location. Spotless clean! Host is very friendly. Loved the outdoor bath tub and the views. If ever in the area, would definitely stay here again.
Chew Stoke
Situated in Chew Stoke in the Bath and North Somerset region, Nature's Spectacular features accommodation with free private parking.
A barbecue is available on site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge.
Stayed in the yurt, it was amazing!!! the bath is soooo good. lovely location, we felt like the only ones there. Enjoyed the experience of cooking outdoors and making a fire.
Nicely kitted out with most things you would need for a stay. View was beautiful with guaranteed deer sightings in the field every day. Lodge was warm, clean, comfortable and roomy. I stayed for work but this would be a lovely place to bring children and stay in one of the larger lodges. Lots of facilities to entertain young and old kids. Looked like there were some nice woodland walks close by too.
The purpose built lodges are comfortable and well equipped. We particularly liked the sitting area with a good television and spacious couch. Also a good size table for eating meals. We were informed beforehand that reception and restaurant would not be open but that the owner would be available by WhatsApp, and he lived up to the promise. Parking is available.
We loved the hot tub and the lodges had lots of space. We really enjoyed it we where 2 adults and 1 child and one baby.
Tall Pines Lodges are an excellent place to stay for an early flight out or a late flight in. You can leave your car there and get transfers to and from Bristol Airport 24/7. You can get decent food and drink from the clubhouse when open and the staff are very friendly.
Really lovely lodges which were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Great place to stay to explore Bristol and the wider area.
Absolutely amazing stay and everything was there to accommodate a nice quiet evening/night after a hard day working down at Weston beach race. Would highly recommend a stay at Lillypool lodges 10/10
I only went for the one night as flew into and out of Bristol. I never met a soul from the Lodges, everything was via messages and emails. I was advised of the key lock no. etc and all went perfectly. The room and bath room were both fine and very clean. The staff at Tall Pines were all excellent in responding quickly to messages and emails. They booked a taxi for me at 4am - providing name and contact no for the driver who arrived punctually at 0355.
This is a great location for an early flight from Bristol Airport. It is literally just around the corner. The instructions to get there and access the room were excellent. The rooms are small lodges next to the Golf Club. There was everything you needed for a night before a flight. Bed was comfy and shower excellent. The transport to the airport was very good. Steve was there on time at the crack of dawn and when returning I just gave him a call once I had collected my case and he was there is 5 mins. Very happy with my stay.
Room in the lodges was nice although a little dated
