The Location and the surroundings were excellent. Self service which suited us fine as meant that we were not restricted. A very Pleasant Couple who ensured that we were all settled in, even our 14 Month Golden Retriever "George". A great base for the Lake District close to the main road. A Very Relaxed stay for all of us.

Wonderful stay at Ravenstone Lodge. Brett and the rest of the staff looked after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fine dining, we didn't want to eat anywhere else because it was so good. The views from the hotel are exceptional. The room was really comfortable. Hope to return soon.

The breakfast was outstanding in variety, presentation and generosity of serves. The lodgings were beautiful old English in settings and rooms but with all “mod cons” so very comfortable. The bed and settee were very comfortable . Lorna, the manager was so helpful, cheery and very friendly. We loved our stay here.

The staff are incredible, we only went for meal because we was staying at the lodges around the corner and because the hotel was so beautiful and the staff where on point we thought we would extend our holiday for an extra night and stay at the hotel and we was not disappointed. Food is unbelievable and fairly priced.
