Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Evening meal was good pub food with decent portions. Breakfast (included) was exceptional. Cooked to order and the best bacon we’ve had for a long, long time.
The George and Dragon was great value - bed, breakfast for 2 and 8 days parking cost less than 1 night bed only at the airport Travelodge.
Not too far as well as not too close from Birmingham, the lodge is very attractive, clean.
The staff is very kind, the food of the pub is delicious.
Although the pub is under the rooms, they are very quiet.

Have stayed here several times and it's comfortable and affordable, ideally located on Coleshill's high street. The rooms are generally well equipped, akin to a Travelodge, albeit they could probably use a little TLC.
When we arrived at the Innkeepers Lodge, we were moved to the accessible room, as the manager saw that both myself and my husband had mobility issues. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fabulous, the staff were polite and very helpful. . The room was clean, comfortable. Big bathroom which was fabulous. Good shower. . Our stay was excellent.
