Really clean, roomy, relaxing and super comfy bed. The pictures do not do this cabin justice, it’s lovely and the scenery is beautiful. the hot tub is a real jacuzzi too not just a whirlpool or spa tub so felt so spoiled. The kitchen has everything you need including a small freezer. Host was really friendly, there if you need anything but gives you full privacy. For those that are interested not only do you have amazing sunsets and rises we also had a full clear moon each night and the sky is so clear you can see some planets 🪐

Everything! Our 3 girls love to be outside exploring, the farm felt like such a safe and friendly environment that we were able to relax whilst they happily played and explored. We visited Chester Zoo and BeWILDerwood during our stay and although they were lovely days out, our girls kept asking when we were going back to the farm! They got involved feeding the calves, loved the swing set and the big garden off to the side of our cottage. The cottage itself was like a TARDIS, it just kept going! Ample room and so comfortable and clean. We booked another night as we didn't want to leave and our children cried when it was time to go. We'll definitely be back again. Thanks so much!
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Beth & Hannah were excellent made us feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent continental breakfast. The hotel was exceptionally clean great location, plenty of restaurants/pubs within easy walking distance can highly recommend Bam Lodge for food. Hotel a leisurely walk from the town centre.
No birthday plate in room as requested, room no good for anyone over 5ft, breakfast absolutely dreadful- sausages under booked, beans potion for a 6 month old baby and rude staff that put phone down on them
I booked this for my sisters 33rd birthday and my brother in laws 40th birthday and quite frankly they’d have been better off in a travelodge. Really upset and disappointed.
Don't do breakfast but had scrambled eggs on toast and tea for around £5 at hotel across the road the first morning.Lodge has microwave and small fridge in dining room for guest use.Lovely leafy green, safe feeling neighbourhood.10 mins walk to the Co op, short cut down to the rail station on the bridge.Pleasant walk in to town.Situated on a very busy road but surprisingly quiet inside the lodge.
the rooom was very spacious, to the point my son insisted on playing hide and seek in it. The staff were lovely and we also met Queenie the cat, which despite spending a fortune on Chester Zoo and Knowlesley Safari park i believe this was my sons favoruite part
Incredible little place, similar in lay out to a premier inn or Travelodge but that’s where the similarities end. Rooms were bright, modern, super clean, amazing beds, has air conditioning and internet enabled TV. Free parking and the full facilities of the services across from the Super 8. Some people have commented about the noise as it’s next to a motorway, I personally never heard a thing .. they do a breakfast for £8 which is continental style but superb value for money and the best staff I have ever came across in a hotel by a mile
It was nice, for a change, staying somewhere the complete opposite of a Travelodge or Premier Inn room. Instead of big and boring you get quite a small room, but quirky, all decked out in red and orange wallpaper, as were the corridors. The bathroom, though, was actually roomier than what you would get in those hotel chains. so I was quite happy there for a couple of days. No breakfast but there are loads of places available within a short walking distance.
the pub and the lodges were clean well maintained attractive and cosy in very wintery weather. in better weather we would have appreciated the outside dining areas and the walk along the canal.
