room is super clean and everything in place. For me the location was perfect for work. Had a evening meal and again was spot on, no long wait and just what I needed. Checked in and asked if I could have a table for 1, got told sorry nothing available till 18.30. Ok that's no problem at all. When to me room to chill for halt an hour, for a knock on my room door.? Opened it to find one of the waiters telling me that they had a table for me now if I wanted. To me this is perfect customer service and great to hear.

I took my two children for a weekend break and we absolutely loved it here. As soon as we arrived the kids were so excited to be met with piglets in the farmyard and some lovely friendly dogs who they instantly fell in love with. They were also given the opportunity to feed some lambs. The farm is beautiful and the accommodation couldn't have been better. There were tears when we left! I definitely plan to return.

Everything! It’s such a bright and beautiful place which has been made with love and creativity. The couple who run it are so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.
The bed is really comfy, the little table by the window is the perfect place to sit with a coffee and watch the world go by. It’s peaceful and it actually snowed a lot when we stayed. We were worried about getting snowed in but the host drove us upto the main road and really went above and beyond. Have already shared this property with friends and family to recommend the stay. Will definitely be back again one day
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Beth & Hannah were excellent made us feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent continental breakfast. The hotel was exceptionally clean great location, plenty of restaurants/pubs within easy walking distance can highly recommend Bam Lodge for food. Hotel a leisurely walk from the town centre.
No birthday plate in room as requested, room no good for anyone over 5ft, breakfast absolutely dreadful- sausages under booked, beans potion for a 6 month old baby and rude staff that put phone down on them
I booked this for my sisters 33rd birthday and my brother in laws 40th birthday and quite frankly they’d have been better off in a travelodge. Really upset and disappointed.
Don't do breakfast but had scrambled eggs on toast and tea for around £5 at hotel across the road the first morning.Lodge has microwave and small fridge in dining room for guest use.Lovely leafy green, safe feeling neighbourhood.10 mins walk to the Co op, short cut down to the rail station on the bridge.Pleasant walk in to town.Situated on a very busy road but surprisingly quiet inside the lodge.
the rooom was very spacious, to the point my son insisted on playing hide and seek in it. The staff were lovely and we also met Queenie the cat, which despite spending a fortune on Chester Zoo and Knowlesley Safari park i believe this was my sons favoruite part
Incredible little place, similar in lay out to a premier inn or Travelodge but that’s where the similarities end. Rooms were bright, modern, super clean, amazing beds, has air conditioning and internet enabled TV. Free parking and the full facilities of the services across from the Super 8. Some people have commented about the noise as it’s next to a motorway, I personally never heard a thing .. they do a breakfast for £8 which is continental style but superb value for money and the best staff I have ever came across in a hotel by a mile
It was nice, for a change, staying somewhere the complete opposite of a Travelodge or Premier Inn room. Instead of big and boring you get quite a small room, but quirky, all decked out in red and orange wallpaper, as were the corridors. The bathroom, though, was actually roomier than what you would get in those hotel chains. so I was quite happy there for a couple of days. No breakfast but there are loads of places available within a short walking distance.
the pub and the lodges were clean well maintained attractive and cosy in very wintery weather. in better weather we would have appreciated the outside dining areas and the walk along the canal.
