Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

I loved the whole college experience, the warm welcome from the staff, its location and the chance to experience even for a short time the Cambridge university campus life. It was wonderful as was the breakfast in the upper hall the following morning. The porter lodge staff did the college proud as ambassadors and face of the college for visitors such as myself.

Great location for dropping my daughter back for her university easter term. The travel lodges were full or over priced, so this suited my budget. Staff were lovely, receptionist particularly so. Very smart breakfast eating area, with staff waiting on you. Beautiful drawing/ morning room with a selection of daily papers spread out for visitors.

So location was great, loved the safari lodge itself, the complimentary breakfast and wine , furniture facilities and hot tub all were lovely and a great alternative to a hotel room. lovely outside area with fire pit and veranda for sitting and dining in the evening.

Lovely lodges set on a beautiful lake, felt very private especially when in the hot tub on your own veranda. Also the welcome hamper was a lovely surprise and things like enough hangers in the wardrobe and mirrors/full length mirror was great editions. We also have an allergy sufferer in our group and Lucy made sure all the bedding was hypoallergenic.
