Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Great location for our short stop in Savusavu. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Handy location for a short walk to town (make sure you're ready for a steep hill walk up to the lodge). The walk up the hill is worth it for the views at the lodge and if you're not up for the walk the staff will arrange for a 4WD transfer to the centre of town.
We felt very at home with the warmth, care and attentiveness of the beautiful Serita and Ani.
Naveria heights lodge is very clean and beautiful. Loved the views and quiet location
The Lodge is in a beautiful setting on the banks of a river which leads to the Salt Lake - there are free kayaks for use which was great! It was so relaxing and the staff are amazing- friendly & helpful. You can get a bus into Savusavu and there is small shop nearby
The lodge had a nice sea view from the balcony and even fom the bed in tbe lodge. The swimming pool was great and the furniture was comfortable. The staff were very friendly.
If Savusavu area is the hidden gem of Fiji, Naveria Heights lodge and the surroundings are the jewel in the crown. A place of breathtaking view amids lush tropical vegetation, it urges you to slow down and embrace life fully. Everything was perfect - the view, the room, the breakfast, the hike in the jungle, the hike to the waterfalls and mud pools. Thank you, Sharon, for the experiences and creating this magical place that resonated deeply with me.
We had an amazing stay at Naveria Heights Lodge. We live in Fiji and this was the best place we've stayed so far! Atu and Mili were so accomodating and friendly, doing everything they could to make our stay wondefcul. The lodge is beautifully built and decorated, and is prestine! And the view....wow! Nothing like it, it's like a brain bath. The garden was beautiful and green & breakfast was delicious - homemade bread and museili! The room was fantastic and very well decorated. Thank you for an amazing weekend getaway from Suva!
beautiful part of Savusavu, it was lovely being near the water and the lodge was so serene and tranquil. A Very relaxing and intimate stay. The staff - Oz, Simon, Lily, Leila, Maria and Solo - were the absolute loveliest people and made everything perfect. And the local animals - Olli, Coco and Kitty were very friendly too! we stayed in the Kingfisher lodge which was spacious and open which was fantastic.
it was quiet and tranquil with only the 2 lodges
We enjoyed the tidal salt watercourse, so interesting with the tides running through the “river” both ways. the gardens and picked flowers were spectacularly beautiful.
we liked the kitchen making our dinner with local produce from the markets. provided breakfast was lovely and 3course!!
