The surroundings of the hotel are a dream. Its views are very relaxing. It’s possible to visit a stream of water that runs by the limits of the hotel’s grounds. Personal is so friendly that I literally felt I was talking to a friend. We arrived by car. So, If you get there by public transport, make sure that you ask them how you can reach the hotel. The same owner of the hotel has a restaurant that it is in the middle of a guadua (very similar to bambu ) plantation. It felt very special to have dinner there and it is very close to the hotel.

There are not many accomodations with this kind of experience, as staying at a Coffee Estate and being able to observe the whole activity at an authentic coffee plantation. Luca, the host, has made all possible efforts that we will remember our stay as a once-in-a-lifetime biotourism experience. You spend your stay at the Hacienda in the middle of the coffee plantations, in the heart of the Colombian Coffee Triangle. The value added is the opportunity to participate in a Coffee Tour, during which the owner presents all the little details about the coffee growing, processing and production, with a coffee tasting as the final part of it. The breakfast was fantastic! A fruit plate, arepa or bread with any kind of egg you could wish for, as well as freshly squeezed juice and coffee from the farm. The chef is the sweetest man, and really skilled at both cooking and presenting the food. He also remembers how you prefer your coffee and always serves it the way you like it best. In addition, he pays attention to you throughout the day and, for example, brings you water by the pool. Also the host helped us with a very flexible transportation from the property. The coffee tour was amazing and I will recommend it to everyone. You both get to pick coffee beans in the fields, see how the coffee is made, have a lecture on the history and science of coffee and have a coffee tasting with five different brewed coffees and a skilled guide.
