Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Location, unique features of the lodges, especially the reading room which included framed articles on the history of the Brewster family. The fitness room and sauna were great and the little stores on the main floor were awesome.
The breakfast was nice, the bathrooms were huge. We liked the location of the hotel.
We liked the area behind the lodges that had an amazing view of the mountains.
The room was very nice looking with a fireplace, wooden headboard but also modern touches. We also enjoyed the balcony with a decent view of the mountains. The lodges are also beautiful from the outside. We received a free room upgrade to a King Room which was very spacious, and the staff called about half an hour after check in to make sure everything was okay with the room. The bed was very comfy and overall the hotel felt luxurious.
The staff member that checked us in was great and very helpful. We stayed in one of the "lodges" and was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. It had a chalet type feel and the full kitchen was perfect for the stay we were looking for. The location was also great and easy to get around town.
Scenic views, amazing staff, great lodges with fireplace. The spa facilities with amazing views too. Were given bus passes into the town!
Parking available too.
The Staff were friendly and the place had character (Albeit dated, compared to other Lodges). The Pool and Hot Tub area was quiet and allowed us to relax and unwind. They had complimentary DVD's which you could take to your Room and watch.
Good location, walking distance to everything. Has a rustic 70s ski lodge feel to it. I can imagine my grandfather staying in a place like this.
