My stay was a delightful escape, enveloped by the soothing sounds of nature. The resort's picturesque setting, embraced by lush greenery and the gentle flow of the Sabie River, offered a truly enchanting experience. The warm hospitality extended by the staff, coupled with the impeccable service, made my stay even more memorable.
Paradise in the bush
Sabie River Bush Lodge is an amazing destination where one can just recharge from the busy city life. Loved watching the hippos wallow and the Elephants graze a mere couple of meters away. The staff offered exceptional service. Really great value for money. Will definitely be returning.
The lodge sits right on the Sabie River. You could look out the lounge area, see hippopotamus frolicking in the river. The staff was very attentive from airport pick to meals. Prince gave a great half day game drive showing me animals I hadn't seen the previous evening.
We loved our stay here. The staff are helpful and friendly. The grounds are neat and beautiful. Our tent was comfortable, had an Aircon, wifi and a patio (with a barbecue), as well as a lovely view of the Sabie river. I enjoyed having our own private kitchen and bathroom that was serviced daily.
Loved the quiet location near Kruger and by the Sabie river but away from the crowds. The deck by the pool and the dining room overlooking the river were lovely. The staff were very efficient and meals were served promptly: it was obvious that the staff were well trained in taking care of their guests. Food was good and they made adaptions for us: fruit for desserts instead of their lovely sweets.
