Everything but the hippo’s passing by at night in front of the bungalow is the best experience ever! It’s really worth booking a riverside bungalow. The staff is super friendly and the location amazing.

The place is so cool. Safe and interesting. Improvement is needed at the restaurant, the fish wasn’t really up to standard and also the topping of the ice cream wasn’t really nice we had to return it back and they did another better one

My stay was a peaceful retreat with stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The restaurant offered a picturesque dining experience by the river, where we enjoyed watching the hippos swim and playfully 'laugh.' The food was both delicious and healthy, with expert preparation and attention to detail. The room had a charming vintage feel, nestled deep in the bush, which added a unique character to the experience. While I wasn’t a fan of the rustic vibe, my partner absolutely loved the authentic connection to nature. A truly delightful and memorable visit!

Great town.
Great town. Visit the Seronera crocodile farm and have a meal at Topolino's Italian restaurant.
The people in this town is exceptionally friendly compared to other areas in SA.
As in all South African towns, this towns municipality does not exist, so dodge the potholes and dodgy places.

The Hazyview Sun is an excellent location within close distance to the Kruger and other attractions in the Lowveld area.
The hotel is very popular with tour operators as there were many tour busses every day with tourists from all over the world. This could be off putting if you want a quite break away from the bustle.
As a stepping stone for every day activities to explore the area, this hotel is a good choice for both location and affordability.

Very spacious and comfortable. Exceptionally well equipped for a self catering stay. Very close to Phabeni gate for Kruger park visits and central for exploring the beautiful area, Gods Window, Burkes Luck Potholes etc. There are many shops and restaurants close by, though probably not walkable for most people.
It felt very safe and the garden is lovely. The host was very accessible and helpful.
The location was awesome, close to Kruger National Park, a mall and the view was amazing with the river nearby. The rooms were also very neat and had all the facilities required for self catering. The thatchet design was really unique and beautiful.
