The various amenities offered mean other than to go to the park you never have to leave the resort. the newly added spa is divine and the views over the Sabie River amazing. We will be back.
Small resort situated by Sabie river close to Kruger national park. Friendly staff. Garden view cabins overlooking small swimming pool. Views of elephants on hillside opposite and hippos in the evening. Great breakfast.
Excellent location on the leafy Sabie river with most soothing white noise (music). Lovely views from the spacious outdoors deck. The roomy house is very well kept by properly trained staff. Estate management (Legacy group) and maintenance reacted fast and professional. All very clean.
There is a nice walking trail passing the hippo pool and alongside the river.
Great location 15 drive to Kruger national park Phabeni gate, nice breakfast, delicious dinners , staff very helpful and loved the thatched hut we stayed in as gives you a real feel of Africa with a balcony looking over the sabie river. Room are well appointed with a mini fridge and a kettle. We had such a lovely stay and so much keeper than staying in the park.
Amazing and unique location on the banks of the Sabie River, great service and the food, although humble, was clearly cooked with love and better than most local restaurants.
Fantastic location overlooking the Sabie River. This was our 3rd visit to the lodge. The staff were always obliging and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was very good and every night there was something different on the menu. We spent 6 nights there and came home feeling happy and relaxed.
The shuttle services offered really helped eliminate a lot of traveling stress from the pick up to the drop off at Dukana shopping center. The staff was so friendly and welcoming especially the restaurant stuff, not forgetting Devine🤗. Complements to the Chef also 🏅👌. The house keeping services was great considering that I'm fussy when it comes to cleanliness due to my allergies. Lastly, the scenery and landscape was exceptional and exactly what i needed for the holiday, the Sabie river view by the dinning hall was exceptional.
The cottages are not on top of each other which gives you more privacy. The property is extremely beautiful and surrounded by plants and animal life. There are macadamia farms all around you. You can go for a 3km hike through a macadamia farm to the Sabie River. At night bush babies play in the tree tops.
