The rooms are SPOTLESS, and the bathrooms were the best (biggest, cleanest, facilities) we came across during our whole South Africa trip!
The food was incredible, very tasty and would definitely recommend taking part in their Braai in the boma - lovely atmosphere and very reasonably priced!
Finally, our stay wouldn't have been so great if it weren't for Natalie. Where to even start. We were contacted prior to arriving via whatsapp, which we loved. My fiancé has a bad tooth and she recommended a local store/pharmacy she was eager to hear all our stories from our self-drive safaris. Plus, she helped arrange a full day safari, quite last minute, with a local company - which was also great.
Thank you Natalie and all the staff at Kruger Eden Lodge, we cannot fault our stay!

Easy entry to the marvelous Kruger national park.
Easy entry to the marvelous Kruger national park. Get there early to avoid queues especially at weekends and holidays. I wholeheartedly recommend taking a guided tour, the external guides are best, I used "My African Safari" and Dylan was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, passionate and great fun. I would suggest a half day to begin with, after that you'll be able to self drive with a better idea of the surroundings.

The only thing I liked about this resort was the staff. The proximity to the Crocodile Bridge of the Kruger National Park is also a big benefit, though I don't think it makes up for all the other issues and does not justify the inflated prices.
Fabulous location barely a minute away from Crocodile Bridge
The view over the river and bridge into Kruger
Well equipped kitchen
Huge shower and lots of water pressure
Solar backup for covering loadshedding
Nice gardens
Accomodation is well located IN the south-eastern part of the Kruger Park. So during your stay you don't have to get through the Kruger gates anymore which is fine because there it can be quite busy every morning. Once you are leaving the hotel gate, it takes you half an hour to reach the main roads of Kruger in the Crocodile Bridge area, but in that 30 minutes you already will meet lots of animals and have a chance for good sightings like - in our case - a leopard, lion, hippo and elephants.
Boomhuisie is a place where every step is taken to ensure a comfortable stay for guests, with a perfect balance of hospitality and privacy. The apartment feels like home, with ample space, and the kitchen great for self catering.
Great location, tucked back into a neighborhood but just a couple minutes' drive to the main road running through town and going to Kruger. It's only about 10 minutes to Crocodile Bridge Gate. We would definitely stay again when in Komatipoort!
You can’t beat the location! Right next to the crocodile bridge entrance to Kruger, and you can even see animals from the property itself. Our tent was clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated having breakfast and dinner available every day. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Thank you!
Spacious, private, clean & comfortable. Room is tastefully decorated. Excellent proximity to Crocodile Bridge Gate (KNP). Hosts are warm & welcoming. Excellent value for money!
Fantastic experience at Crocodile Bridge. Watching the wildlife in the river from the deck, delicious dinners and meeting fellow guests at night, and just lovely accommodation in general. A special thanks to the staff that was so welcoming and willing to chat, they made us feel right at home.
The view and location were exceptional. Saw hippo, buffalo, monkeys and wildebeest from the deck.
Only 50m from Crocodile bridge gate into Kruger park.
Very quite and peaceful {better than Crocodile Bridge camp).
Lawns and surroundings were well maintained.
Everything was just as expected and described in the property information. We had a fantastic stay with the family, a few meters away from Crocodile Bridge Gate at Kruger. The views of the river are delightful, one can see from there buffalos, hippos or elephants!
I must highlight Antoni, the manager, who did everything to make our stay more comfortable, including helping us with transportation Kruger's gate to arrive on time to the game drives. Would absolutely recommend this place to spend a few nights!
