Fusion Original was very clean, updated and well located. My room was a good size with a nice view, breakfast was excellent and the pool is really nice. There were a few families with small children at the pool and the kids were loving it. Lots of fun.
Saigon is very hot/humid at times, and I found that this can lead to a musty smell in some hotels that are not well ventilated. That smell really bothers me, and I actually had to switch from a very high rated/expensive hotel due to this problem. This was NOT an issue at Fusion Original. Everything was extremely clean and well taken care of.

It is a beautiful property with very thoughtful details throughout. The owner had a vision and realized it perfectly. Is filled with objects Chinese and Vietnamese art. The rooms are well laid out and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with both Vietnamese and western dishes. The location was great, in the heart of the Old Quarter. All of the people at reception spoke English and were extremely helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

Great place to visit!
Great place to visit! A bit pompous and I was surprised I couldn’t enter the entrances on the other side by Tao Dan park. Our Outdoor Escape Game experience by walkvietnam.com led us through here and it was great to learn the history about this place. Do check it out if you have extra time and want to know the history in Ho Chi Minh

Really interesting historic place with Vietnamese...
Really interesting historic place with Vietnamese architecture. Got a tour here, but it wasn't as tourist friendly otherwise (not much signage/wayfinding/air conditioning) and it gets very warm, especially in the bunker.

This place may mean a lot to the locals and have some historical significance but is mainly a lot of rooms with large dining tables and chairs. Well maintained and you can get some nice photos in the gardens.

Excellent piece of often overlooked history of south vietnam. Relatively untouched after the government of south vietnam was overturned. Recommended to also visit the temporary exhibition for more context.

Definitely a must see IMO.
Definitely a must see IMO. There is a little golf cart just after the entrance which will take you around the lovely gardens and drop you off at the front door of the palace. Get the audioguide for a self-guided tour. Don't forget to go up to the roof top - hard to find the staircase and not sign posted

Do not miss the palace. So interesting. You can start at the very top and work your way down. Make sure you visit every room. Garden are is lovely. The toilets here are immaculate. Do not miss the building in the corner. It is part of the original old palace.
