Good location with great restaurants within walking distance or short Uber ride. Great walkable neighborhoods nearby and Wicker Park only 2 blocks away. Good shopping with small boutiques and well known stores all within walking distance.
The hotel has great amenities (free water, soda, beer in the mini fridge), robes and slippers. The room was lovely with large windows to let in light, a marble top table for working or eating and a good size bathroom.

A short walk from Wrigley Field is Paulina Market the real deal in classic old world butcher shop. A great way to experience Chicago’s meat packing history in one of the last remaining full-service butcher shops. Grab some snack meats for a nice treat.

I love this hostel. The location - that’s Wrigley Field, right on the doorstep, and the rest of the area is similarly lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and two of them led us wonderfully astray on a crawl of Wrigleyville’s bars. Transport connections to the city were very close and very easy. Do-Rite Donuts around the corner for breakfast. Literally a perfect pied a terre for experiencing Chicago
They have a lovely bar/lounge/patio area. So welcoming. The staff are remarkable. Anything you need they’re there to help you. The rooms are incredible. Make sure you get a room with the wrigley field. 5,6 floors are the best. I had the 3rd floor with the largest room and my view would have been better if my room be in a higher floor.
The location of the hotel was perfect. We walked everywhere including the subway to Wrigley Field. There were beautiful plantings on the street and the city was relatively clean. We felt safe walking at night back to the hotel. We went to the Purple Pig for dinner which was very good.
