Location was perfect for walkability to the North sides more notable attractions. FAQs about hotels in Chicago

Our Kind of Town

Standing proud beside Lake Michigan, Chicago is down-to-earth, friendly, and full of culture. It has outdoor art by famous artists including Chagall and Picasso, and there are some fascinating architectural works from the Art Institute of Chicago.

Home to blues and house music, Chicago has an eclectic music scene that reflects its spirit. The Windy City is also a pioneer in a variety of Americanized dishes from it's European immigrant roots like deep-dish pizza and the Chicago hot dog.

The world’s first skyscraper and Ferris wheel were erected in Chicago. The latter, on Navy Pier, is one of the Midwest’s most visited sights. Also famed is the ‘L’ transport system, whose raised trains circle The Loop, the main business district. Check out its skyline reflection in the shiny bean sculpture in huge Millennium Park.

Home of the Bulls and Bears, Chicago is a stronghold of sport and has teams playing baseball, basketball, American football and hockey, to name a few. If you get a chance, try to catch a game.

Chicago Midway and Chicago O’Hare Airport are both on the outskirts of this vast city, so make sure to leave enough time for travel from your Booking.com hotel, apartment or hostel. And all that jazz.

The city is modern and clean. People generally polite and helpful. Many different places to eat although is quieter on the weekends. The museum is awesome. Lots of vibe along the canal and nice parks along the lakefront. Heaps of shopping. Downtown feels safe and easy to walk around. Otherwise lots of buses, a metro and taxis.

It's such a walkable city, which I appreciate when solo travelling. So much to see and do, don't miss the architecture boat tour, that's a great way to learn more of the city's history and a great way to see the city from Chicago River.

Chicago is a very beautiful city with so much to see and do with friends and family. I love the music, food, places to visit and have fun like the beaches, museums, movies theaters, and especially the night lights. Navy Pier was filled with so much excitement and fun things to see, ride, eat and do. Chicago is my kind of town to be in and enjoy life with others. I just Love Chicago!!!

It's nice city, pretty clean, urban zone. Good food (pizza, hotdogs, latino and serbian restourants), great and friendly people in general. The thing I didn't like, there's a lot people which has mental problems + homeless, that was so sad and in I didn't feel 100% safe in subway. Anyway, it's recommendation to visit the city for sure. :)

Excellent Hotel downtown directly on the corner of Michigan Avenue (magnificent Mile). Hotel is very clean and comes with the typical standard equipement you expect form a Hotel in that class. The rooms are not totally new but very clean and in a very well kept shape. Extremely nice staff and service. We have been to this Hotel a couple of times and would always consider it again when coming back to Chicago.

Great location, downtown and near metra station: You can walk to a number of attractions and get to many others with public transportation or a cheap uber ride. The room is extremely spacious and with a great lake view. It is one of the few historical buildings (with a soul!) downtown Chicago you can sleep in, which was a plus for me. Great value to price ration, given the market prices.

Great location right in the middle of downtown Chicago. Hotel was overall a bit dated, room basic but clean, breakfast was pretty awful nothing healthy other than a bowl of apples. Most of the staff were miserable and a bit rude I felt it was extremely expensive for a basic dated hotel where the staff are clearly not happy in their work. I wouldn't visit again
