Hotel Bardo is drop dead gorgeous. Staff was so welcoming on arrival, and I’m still dying over the decor throughout the property. We were so thankful we chose this location versus staying down by the water. The hotel is directly across from Forsyth Park and a really lovely walk from all the shops and restaurants. We never got in the car again after checking in, and just chose to walk everywhere for the two days we were in town!
Parking is valet only but just roll with it- they park all the vehicles in a gated lot from what we could see. It is what it is.
Be aware that the city of Savannah has a lot of events, and the morning we checked out, there was a 5k happening outside the property. No big deal for us, but an absolutely heinous guest was berating the check in staff about the valet parking drop off/pick up changes and being insanely ugly. The staff was being so calm, but gosh, it was uncalled for. I hope she reads this and feels ridiculous.
Loved our stay so much that I’m coming back this month with my sister! Thanks again!
