Love where it's located, Historic Savannah is wonderful. As soon as I got there, I was in my comfort zone with the staff and manager on site, great guy. Room was deliciously beautiful, very clean: baseboards clean, no cobwebs( especially over the vents), nice quality towels, sturdy beautiful bed, ect...The courtyard was a wonderful site, I didn't sit in the area but would pass by as the route I take from my room to the front passes by it. Man it's really a place of social comfort, in the evening the lobby and the bar area come to life, filled with light conversations, soft lighting, and good vibes. Definitely a good place... definitely!

For me - one day is enough. Riverside area has some interesting shopping and good restaurants. City Market was a bit disappointing- more restaurants than shops. The Rocky pathways make it difficult to walk. Parking is expensive making walking the only affordable way to get around but construction presents a walking challenge in some areas. The hop on hop off trolley is pricey and the plastic window coverings were a little difficult to see through.
Quinn’s restaurant for breakfast was great - good food and reasonable. Enjoyed Shrimp Factory for dinner - soup was outstanding! POE’s Tavern was the worst burger I’ve ever had - so dry we could hardly eat them. Wish we had tried The Olde Pink House for lunch.

Savannah offers mild and comfortable weather, making it a pleasant destination. Food lovers will appreciate the abundance of great dining options throughout the city. However, the shopping scene could be more prominent, and the lack of a well-developed public transportation system may be a downside for some visitors.

It’s a beautiful city.
It’s a beautiful city. Too expensive, it seemed to me that there were extra taxes. One night and two days is enough. The atmosphere near the market is nice with fine bars and live music. Otherwise not many choices for restaurants. Sunday restaurants work only until 15.00.

Much beauty. Nice people but gets tired quickly.
Much beauty. Nice people but gets tired quickly. Go for a few days but don't stretch it out more that a 2 night stay unless you want to do all the tours & hit all the restaurants. There is plenty to keep you busy there.

It has become our half way point when we travel between VA and FL. It is easy access to I95 north and south. Plenty of restaurants in the area as well as in the hotel. Child friendly and very friendly staff. Nice restaurant and bar for adults. Check ahead if traveling with pets I’m not sure if they are allowed. The hotel is always clean and inviting. If pets are around you can’t tell.
