Savannah is a great town for history buffs. The fact that it is a great walking town adds to the experience. Uber/Lyfts are readily available if needed. There is an abundance of restaurants/cafes/bars to same during a stay in town. Sorry Charlie’s is a must see with its three venues and roof view, Treylor-Park Hitch and McDonough’s/Billy’s Place were stops we enjoyed as well.

Savannah is my hometown, but I have not lived there for almost fifty years. I have returned numerous times to visit family, but this was the first trip that my husband and I acted like tourists and drove throughout the city, the beaches, and Pooler, where we stayed. Savannah has changed very little over the years like most cities, but that is what makes Savannah special, keeping the historic places unchanged. Many more tourists than I have ever encountered however.

liked location. very clean and well lit. close to several restaurants. loved the room with nice size desk and a couch.
The only negative was something was always out at the breakfast bar. Either the apple juice, the sausage, the waffle mix, or the eggs.

The history of Savannah is rich and interesting, We went to the visitor centre and they were so helpful and you could see dedicated to us and loved their beautiful city. We took a hop off hop on bus which was good value and a great way to see the city. We stayed at a hotel outside of the historic district which was fine but next time I would have tried to find a place inside. There were plenty of good places to eat. Forsyth Park was a great place to take some time out

Savannah was great, but I would not take my children back with me. I would like to return with adults to check out the bars and shop a little more. We ate lunch at the Seafood Shack in the historic district and it was AMAZING! Definitely a place we will dine at again!

Dining out in the evenings is great, with plenty of choice.
Dining out in the evenings is great, with plenty of choice. You must try Goose Feathers for breakfast or lunch. Open until 2.30pm, closed all day Tuesday. Lots to see and do but 4 or 5 days is enough. If you don't have a car, public transport is superb. Various museums to visit and lots of good walks to enjoy.
Would recommend the Prohibition Museum.
the hotel is very nice, trendy, comfortable.
amenities are excellent, great terrasse and swimming pool as well
staff is very nice
rooms ate comfortable and large space, with everything that we need
location is nice, even if it’s not in town, it is very easy to access the restaurants and downtown Savannah in walking distance along the river, it’s a great promenade at night!
several restaurants and bars, music, rooftop.. everything available for everyone
The hotel is in the middle of the Historic District, excellent location! The room was HUGE with a little area to make coffee and a microwave! The bathroom is also really nice and clean. Its the biggest room we had on our 3 week trip! It is very clean, staff absolutely lovely, would have stayed longer if we could have! This was definately the best hotel on our trip and i would absolutely recommend it to anyone!
Great old house just off the beaten path of the touristy downtown Savannah. None of the frills and all of the charm. Big, high ceilings, super comfy beds. If you are expecting polish and room service look elsewhere. This place oozes character and a bit of dust. I would definitely stay here again. And I am not one to share a bathroom--this place has two and they are kept clean. A real bargain.
Was quiet, bed was comfy, was clean, office backed on to a perkins restaurant, lots of fsst food near by. Downtown savannah was about 30- 45 min away depending on traffic. Owner is an artist so has made sculptures out of old junk very cool.
