Placemkr is a superb place to stay in New York, right at the river side, in a nice and calm area on Wall Street. Underground and ferry are both in walking distance. The apartment we rented was the smallest one, but still offering way more space than a hotel room can, plus we had a small kitchen. If that proved to be too small, we could go to the common kitchen, which was perfectly equipped. Laundry free of charge was an added bonus!
Hotel has a great location in the Financial District, 5 minute walking from Wall street and the Charging Bull. There is a metro station in from on the hotel entry and 4 metro lines available just in 5 minute walk. The bed was very comfortable. The room and the bathroom was very clean, it was cleaned every day and the towels were also changed every day. The room is equipped with coffee machine, iron & ironing board, TV, hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, slippers, safe locker.
Very well-located on Wall Street, easy access and friendly staff made the check-in experience simple. While the room was small, it was well-appointed and had all the facilities needed for a short break in the city.
The hotel's location is fantastic, a 5 minute walk to One World Trade Center, a 10 minute walk to Broadway and Wall Street., and a 15 minute walk to Battery Park where ferries leave for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Breakfast is not provided, but tea and coffee are available in the morning in the hotel lobby, along with apples and jogurt.
Bottled water, biscuits or crisps were sometimes available during the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was extremely well located (in Wall Street). You have Wall Street + Fulton subway station just around the hotel.
