Great location , walkable in Bar Harbor but regular shuttle buses provided. Lovely room, great service , water bottle refill stations near the exit. Ice machines on each level. Buffet breakfast very good. Gardens pretty Their is also a trail next to the hotel that takes you to Duck Brook Bridge and then there are other options on carriage trails these are wide and busy with bicycles.

Lovely Bed n Breakfast in a pretty landscaping. Very old cool property with history. Very comfortable with a good bed! Chris, the manager pulled out all stops when I arrived late and didn’t have a way from the airport and his friend came to pick me up. Great people!

We enjoyed breakfast each morning. English muffin on breakfast sandwich was not crispy and a little tough. Nice variety of choices.

Our room was squeaky clean and very comfortable. The dehumidifier was so useful. Don’t always think of Maine as humid, but it can be.
Location was nice, on main road but up an hill so traffic noise was nonexistent. Away from crowded downtown yet on bus route that took just a few minutes to get to the village green.
A good location just west of Bar Harbor. Large room and very clean. They have a laundry room for guests and a break room with coffee and hot water. We also found out that there is free transportation on the Island taking you many places. Every 20 minutes a bus goes by and we stood across the street from our motel and waved the bus and it picked us up. They took us to the village green in Bar Harbor then we took it back to our motel and they dropped us at the motel driveway. Parking in Bar Harbor is $4.00 per hour everywhere.
I ate breakfast at the cafe next door each day. The staff I met at check-in, Hanley, was very helpful and helped me get my belongings upstairs. She also gave me some suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The room, and the entire property, was very clean and tidy. Parking was sufficient and the location, across from the Village Green, was perfect for quick access to shops, restaurants, and things to do. I would stay there again anytime.

The Acadia Hotel is situated right on Bar Harbor's village green, so nearly every shop and restaurant is less than a 10-minute walk away. Also easy access to Acadia National Park. Hotel guests get guaranteed parking spaces (behind the building) in a part of town where street parking can be brutally competitive. The complementary continental breakfast includes an omelette bar. The hotel has bikes, hiking equipment, and umbrellas to lend out to guests. They also have printed hiking guides that you can take into the park.
The town bus picks you up directly in front of the hotel. It was very convenient and comfortable way to get into town and drops you in the center of the town, Village Green. Easy way to avoid the parking!
