Front desk staff went the extra mile to provide information which would make our stay better. The breakfast was excellent, with a different choice of hot food each day.

I would say Sand Bar cottages was perfect for a few days exploring bar harbor. Breakfast was magnificent. Top Tip! Get some nice wine and sit by the fire pits in the evening. top notch

It was clean and the free hot drink machines (as well as in the room) were a nice touch. It had a nice lookout restaurant called The Looking glass. A great spot to watch the sunrise as it’s virtually impossible to buy the Cadillac Summit entry tickets online. Open for breakfast daily too (didn’t use) and dinner on Friday/Saturdays (did use and was good value with lovely views). Nice indoor pool too. Didn’t use the outdoor. Having a laundry room was useful

The property was clean and the room was spacious. The location was perfect…a 5 min walk to the village green. The coffee and blueberry muffin each morning sorted us for breakfast and we’re delicious.
Perfect location. My family & I must’ve walked up & down Main Street 50 times in the three days we stayed. It’s near EVERYTHING….shops, Village Green, shuttles, restaurants & Agamont Park. Room wasn’t anything fancy but it was cute enough. I would definitely recommend to a friend & stay again myself.
It was in a prime location , with the island bus taking us to the village green . Staff were very courteous and friendly . And helpful too . Big clean rooms - we were very happy with our stay

Location, location, location - 5 min walk from the Bar Harbor downtown and the Village Green park where you can take one of the free buses to the Acadia Park (for example Sand Beach)
