Everything! Decor, Cleanliness and staff. Tim was so cool and knowledgeable! Made us feel right at home. Ryan was a wealth of knowledge and charm! The other door men that worked 8/22-8/26 were so sweet and recommended so many activities! I wish i remembered all of their names but every man who worked that door was amazing! The young lady at the podium near the bar 8/22, 8/23, 8/24 8/25 was the absolute sweetest and so lovely! This was our first stay in New orleans and our first stay at a Virgin property, and we will be telling everyone! Thank you so much team for a wonderful stay. Checkout was smooth and we miss it already. 🤣😭!

On the website it said that you could still do a self-guided tour but when we got there we were informed that we could not. Unfortunately, all of the guided tours were full so we missed our chance to see a New Orleans cemetary (time was limited). Book a tour asap or plan on traveling out of the quarter to visit a different one.

It feels weird to rate a cemetary.

It feels weird to rate a cemetary. Like, what am I supposed to say? What I can say is that Marie Laveau and Nicolas Cage have tombs there. Find a good tour guide to learn more about the burial habits in NOLA and some interesting people buried there. Considering that the tombs are re-opened after a year and a day and the skeletal remains are placed into a small container to make room for the next person to be buried in that tomb, the tour felt educational and not disrespectful or too creepy or eerie. Just don't write on any of the tombs. One tomb supposedly has a bad hex on it. I am staying far away from that one.

I went on a tour here. it's a run down cemetary with tons of tours going on everywhere around you. Although some of the stories were interesting about why they have above ground tombs, the direct stories about individual plots in the cemetary sound made up and not that factual...still entertaining though.
