We could not rave about the Ritz-Carlton Portland Hotel more! From Valet pick up and transfer, check in, front desk Issac concierge offering Champagne upon arrival to the bellman service. Each member of staff delivered with care & excellence. The room was immaculate, bathroom was spacious and decorated in such a stunning way & we LOVED the large tub. We had the most amazing stay with a great night's sleep!
Food was excellent.
My only critique was that it was not clear that tip was already included on room service when I paid online so I tipped twice.

As always, Mark Spencer is a good option in one of the busiest parts of Portland. Close to the Crystal Ballroom, Powell's, close enough to walk to Providence Park, as well as on-site parking in a gated garage so your car isn't in danger. The beds were comfy, the room was clean, the staff was helpful, and the room we got this time (512) was particularly quiet.
It was in a really nice neighborhood, with a Walgreens and food places nearby. Only a block or so away from a bus stop that takes you downtown in a few minutes. It was about a 10 min walk (uphill) to one of the most beautiful and large parks I've ever seen (Washington Park). A few blocks from Providence Park, if you like soccer and it's in season. Always felt safe walking to and from the hotel, night or day.
Beautiful building. Two blocks to Providence Park Stadium. The room was nice and clean. The staff was really helpful with restaurant and bar suggestions.
