To be fair, we didn’t see much. What we did see was dirty and teeming with homeless. We could not, would not, go out after dark. Even on the hotel property we didn’t feel safe. Getting around was okay, thanks to our navigation system.

If you have never stayed and visited Portland, you are in for treat. An amazing city. Wonderful food, beer and wine. It has such a positive vibe, and so many things to do. Trying to fit it all in is the challenge. We have visited with and without a car. Both were easy. farmers market on Saturday morning downtown is so nice. Too many restaurants to name. all kinds, all price ranges, that is what we like about it. Killer happy hours.

Portland has always been a rather special place for northwest people to go for a proper city experience. Lots of side trips like Mt Hood, the Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, and the rivers. It’s a city with a history and culture. They cleaned up skid row in the 1960’s , and they should be careful about inviting the homeless crowd into the city. It’s a beautiful place.

I enjoy Portland, for the most part.
I enjoy Portland, for the most part. My sister lives here and i come quite often. I enjoy the fact that there are a lot of great places to eat; restaurants, bars...Of course, with that said; that also all depends what area you stay in.
A lovely hotel, in the heart of the Pearl District and within a short walk of Union Station or the tram line to get to/from the airport. Clean and modern, with a great swimming pool, especially for kids, and a terrific roof top terrace to chill out on at the end of the day. Breakfast was good and there was coffee available 24/7 in the reception area. A big shout out to Jake at the reception desk who was so helpful, giving us great tips for where to go (and not to go!) in Portland and the surrounding area - a real credit to the hotel.
Our room was clean and big enough for two. The bed was very comfortable and we liked the separate duvets rather than one sheet and comforter. The hotel is very secure with room key access only for most areas. Front desk staff were awesome. It was very quiet at night for a downtown hotel. The location was perfect for everything we were attending. Restaurant was very good too. Parking was easy and secure. We enjoyed our stay.
Exceptional staff at check-in/front desk, dining/coffee, housekeeping. They were helpful with recommendations for local dining and shopping as well. Excellent location within walking distance of some of the best shopping and dining in Portland. It felt like a great area to live and work and met every need I had. Parking was off street within the hotel structure which was a nice surprise.
Enjoyed this little place in downtown. Felt safe there, it was clean and kitchen had decent dishes and utensils. Location was great and checkin in nearby hotel wasn't issue at all. All went well despite late checkin and early check out. Thank you, would stay again.
Good services and amenities. Best hotel coffee and tisanes. Perfect location for Portland downtown. All the rooms all well equipped. Breakfast is only continental.
