Portland as a city has a lot to offer.

Portland as a city has a lot to offer. You can easily spend a week there, and don't forget the short drive to the Pacific Ocean. Highly reccomend the French Patisserie- worlds best baked goods- and I used to dine frequently in Montreal. The zoo, Hoyt Arbereutum. Go have a great time.

Portland used to be one of the most beautiful, clean and exciting cities I'd ever visited or lived in! (& yes, I did live there for 7 years) Not anymore! Still beautiful location but totally lost it's appeal with the homelessness, crime, road rage, mind numbing "sanctuary" status and loss of "neighborliness"!

I don't like Portland as a city anymore.

I don't like Portland as a city anymore. Too many homeless cracked out people roaming the streets. I don't feel safe walking around, especially at night. I do however LOVE eating at killer burger, and make it a must stop place to eat! The peanut butter pickle burger is the absolute Best!!!

We came to Portland primarily for Kumoricon, but stayed another day to just explore and check out the city. We visited last year but our primary focus was attending the con. November is a tricky time to go; the fall colors are beautiful and the air is delightfully crisp, but it's cold, windy, and grey. We visited the Rose Test Garden and it was still quite pretty, but definitely not as enchanting as it could be. Getting around Portland is extremely easy if you know where you want to go. Pro tip: either buy day tickets or use the mobile fastpass and just ride around on the light rail. It's ~$5 for a day pass and you can hop on and off wherever. Most of the city is walkable and easy to get around :) Overall, there's lot of food options, interesting places to check out, and lots of fun and friendly people to interact with. Definitely a great place!

I have never been so disappointed in a city.

I have never been so disappointed in a city. My vehicle was broken into in a parking structure. The streets smell like feces and urine. Derelects everywhere. Police do nothing about crime. I'll never go back.

Everything! This was my third stay at this hotel, and it has been consistently great. They are in a fantastic location only a few minutes away from the PDX airport and only about 20 minutes from all the restaurants and attractions in Portland. The rooms are clean and comfortable with coffee, TV, toiletries, and outlets. They offer free parking, which is a huge plus in the city. The person at check-in is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place, especially for quick overnight trips before/after the airport.

This was our third stay. We love that parking is easy, it's walkable to downtown and local businesses, it's quiet, easy access to the highways / routes out of town for day trips, an easy drive to eastern Portland. We fine the beds and pillows comfy. Bathroom and showers are great. Love that there is a fridge, coffee makers, and in some rooms a kitchenette. There's an elevator for rooms not on the main floor.

My room had a microwave and a mini fridge. The bed was big and comfortable and everything was perfect! They offer coffee or tea during the whole day. I enjoy everything about this hotel!!! The Dossier was a great hotel right downtown. Downtown Portland has lost a lot of its charm the last few years, but that is no fault of the Dossier. It was easy to get everywhere and we were able to walk or take public transportation wherever we wanted. The coupons for the bar were also incredibly helpful in figuring out breakfast. The room was large and comfortable and very clean.
