The hotel has the best location. The Historic District and everything you need is in walking distance. The hotel is connected to the Historic District. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our ceiling light was not working. We reported this to one of the staff and Zoli was immediately there to fix it. Problem solved in less than 10 minutes. Zoli is very helpful and attentive as well as all the staff we came in contact with. They did not have a breakfast option, but provided a grab and go bag and fresh coffee. The "grab and go bag" contained a banana-nut muffin, cereal bar and bottled water. Fresh fruit is available also. It worked perfectly for us. There is a restaurant next door that serves an excellent and fast breakfast. My husband ate there one day (carry-out). He said it was very good.The room was small, but very comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable. "Everything" was very clean. I always clean and sanitize my own room and bring my own linen and towels (borderline OCD), so for me to say it was clean.... that means "it was clean." I highly recommend this hotel. It also has an elevated area where you can sit and look at the Bay, the Fort, the trains going by, the Lions Bridge and see all of the St. Augustine activities. Nice cozy, covered area to relax. High tables and chairs and love-seat in this look-out area. We had a wonderful stay!
The landscaping makes nice backgrounds for pictures during the day and at night. They have lights to highlight the trees and greenery at night.
