We got up at 7.00 am and walked along the boardwalk looking...
We got up at 7.00 am and walked along the boardwalk looking at all the people excercising in the cool of the morning. Probably my favourite time of the day on Ocean drive. The iconic Miami Beach. People playing volleyball etc. we had breakfast at The Betsy Hotel 144 Ocean Drive. Expensive but worth it. We ate on the terrace watching the world go by. The Versace House on Ocean Drive is now a restaurant, people were taking photos of themselves outside which all seemed a bit disrespectful and ghoulish.

Too crowded and out of control.
Too crowded and out of control. People playing football next to our dinner table and had the ball nearly hit us a few times. Pot smoke every where so plan on getting high just walking down the street. This is not the South Beach ten years ago. Go to Ft Lauderdale if you want less craziness.

Watch eating on ocean drive.. Side from them being super annoying you always have to check your bill for added charges they tried to charge me $45 for four cokes.. go to the Clevelander Steve is the best bartender...

We really loved Karol’s apartment. It actually bigger in real life than in pictures. You can see even bit of a ocean from living room window :) I know it has not been advertised but pretty cool
Location is the best, right on Ocean drive
The hotel is in an excellent spot, I was lucky to have the best room in the hotel with a corner window looking both at the beach and the Ocean Drive. The staff was very nice and helpful, I've made a couple of friends. Special thanks to Rene and Ernie for showing me around the city after their working hours.
I've stayed in many places in Miami Beach, and this location is ideally situated on Ocean Drive. It's in a quieter area away from the hustle and bustle, directly across from the beach and Starbucks, and near the Betsy Hotel, where you can enjoy a great dinner and drinks at the piano bar. It felt like having my own apartment with everything I needed, perfect for families with kids. We plan to stay here every summer.
It was prime location... can't beat being right on Ocean Drive in the middle of all the action, and it is super conveniently situated right across the street and a short walk to the beach via a well paved and mostly covered beach path. Hotel gives you free beach towels to use. Super helpful and accommodating front desk staff! Free Wi-Fi was a plus!
The location was perfect a little off from the excitement of Ocean Drive street. The room was excellent it was like being in a apartment, 2 bedrooms a living room and a kitchen. The beach was across the street. The pool was great, nice and quiet.
The room was clean, which was very important to us. The hotel is located right on the famous Ocean Drive, the busiest and most well-known spot in Miami Beach.
The location is excellent… near the beach, shops, restaurants and in a walkable distance to Ocean Drive.
We liked the beach service which included umbrella and 2 lounge chairs.
Our room (king with pool view) came with a coffee machine. Water bottles were always provided in the room and whenever we asked for beach towels.

Marseille Hotel will definitely enhance your vacation! We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The staff was very attentive & they offer a complimentary happy our daily! With direct access to the beach and the Ocean Drive boardwalk, we could seamlessly transition between numerous activities in the area. The pool and backyard provide a great atmosphere for lounging, eating, tanning, socializing, etc.

Location, on ocean drive and beach front. Very clean, nice fragrance from lobby and rooms. Free bicycles to ride. I got ocean front room with all windows.
Breakfast was at another hotel, which in fact is good, you take a beautiful walk down the ocean drive.
I had a fantastic stay at the Generator Hotel in Miami Beach. The location is excellent, just a minute away from the beach in a quiet neighborhood, yet still within walking distance or a short bus ride to the lively Ocean Drive area. The staff, especially the receptionists, were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully designed with a minimalist aesthetic, and they were always clean. I particularly appreciated having a mini fridge in the room, which added to the convenience. Overall, this hotel offers great value for the price.
