Location is excellent, straight on Ocean Drive! Rooms are spacious and clean! They are offering you a cart with beach chairs, umbrella and towels which are very useful. Staff is nice! We appreciated the complimentary starbucks coffee every morning.

I really enjoyed my stay here – the rooms are small but very well equipped. The bed is incredibly comfortable and I loved the high-tech lighting system that made everything convenient at the touch of the button. It has everything you could want from a room, including a mini fridge and good hairdryer.
The rooftop pool was great for some early morning laps, and I loved the decor throughout the communal areas of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and affordable too!
However, the good stuff doesn’t end there. Absolute stand-out for me at this hotel with the staff. Every single person was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I couldn’t sing their praises enough. Even the guy that knocked on my room to see if I was still checking out (because I was running a bit late) was so lovely and good humoured. Thank you so much for a really pleasant week!

We got up at 7.00 am and walked along the boardwalk looking at all the people excercising in the cool of the morning. Probably my favourite time of the day on Ocean drive. The iconic Miami Beach. People playing volleyball etc. we had breakfast at The Betsy Hotel 144 Ocean Drive. Expensive but worth it. We ate on the terrace watching the world go by. The Versace House on Ocean Drive is now a restaurant, people were taking photos of themselves outside which all seemed a bit disrespectful and ghoulish.

Too crowded and out of control.
Too crowded and out of control. People playing football next to our dinner table and had the ball nearly hit us a few times. Pot smoke every where so plan on getting high just walking down the street. This is not the South Beach ten years ago. Go to Ft Lauderdale if you want less craziness.

Excellent value-for-money spacious studio with equipped kitchenette in nice location on Collins Ave, steps away from the beach (hotel provides beach chairs and umbrella in the room) and Ocean Drive restaurants and nightlife. Jonathan's market nearby open 24/7. Got late check out free of charge. No reception in the building, but the owner very responsive to phone messages.
Location was perfect, in front of the park and beach, a little bit further from the noisy restaurants and clubs :) Additionally our room was on the third floor at the back, so we didn’t hear any noises from Ocean Drive.And it didn’t face another hotel so we had nice view.
The room was really spacious and well equipped (basic cosmetics, iron, fridge). The cleaning lady was present every day, so we had everything done. The swimming pool was nice with a view on the beach, all towels, umbrellas are included in the price, no hidden costs:)
We LOVED staying at the Cardozo. The location was perfect for an evening stroll along Ocean Drive, for the beach and also a bike ride around the local area. The actual hotel was gorgeous, spotlessly clean, stylish rooms, and an attractive lobby and bar. We especially loved the little courtyard filled with plants and somewhere chilled to relax. Staff were polite and helpful - from servers (Frankie) to lending us bikes to explore. Would come back in a heartbeat and definitely recommend to others. Thanks so much
We stayed in the older section of the hotel which was very comfortable. The room was large with a wet bar/sink as well as a nice sitting area. The bathroom was very large and well appointed. The pool area was lovely. I really enjoyed the morning coffee service. Our first night we ate outside in the restaurant for happy hour and were very happy. The location was great, just a couple of blocks from the beach and Ocean Drive.

It is a quick walk from the hotel to the beach and about 15 minutes to the hustle-and-bustle of Ocean Drive, quite ideal for exploring the area.
The hotel room was spacious and clean. The swimming pool on the 4th floor was fantastic. Having the News Cafe at your doorstep was excellent for breakfast. The location on Ocean Drive outstanding

Avoid restaurants on ocean drive that do not display prices on their menus!!! Especially when they lure you in for their 'buy 1 get 1 free' then you find out the '1' cost $40 - without tax and without the 18% service charge that as added on top at EVERY restaurant/bar along ocean drive
