We spent just one night here, but I wish it was more! This hotel was beautiful and had a heap of history. Despite its age, it was wonderfully refurbed and so well appointed. The room was huge, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was stunning. The shower was huge and glorious. I loved the location as well, it was easy to walk to some major monuments and museums. It was the perfect spot for our quick trip. We tried to have breakfast, but hadn't thought about the fact it was a Saturday during the Christmas holidays, so it was really busy and we didn't have time. So if you're there on a weekend, go to breakfast early! I can also highly recommend The Hamilton restaurant that was nearby. ALSO, if you want to do the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, be sure to 'book' your tickets well in advanced. While they are free, their popularity is off the chart so they ticket it.

Love love love this area. Filled with tourists but it's so much livelier than the rest of the surrounding areas. There was always something interesting going on. If you like to people watch, this area is great! It's large so you can really plan a whole day around this area and hit all of the monuments. Have a picnic on the grass, look at the ducks and admire the duck ramps, go in and out of the surrounding museums, walk around sculpture gardens, etc. Would definitely go back! Also definitely go during the daytime but also during the night time. It's so pretty lit up.
Very spacious apartment with all the necessary amenities and much more. Heaters were provided so apartment temperature was always adequate. Hosts provided coffee, sparkling water, little chocolates on arrival, oils, salt and pepper and more. Very cozy and super clean. Walking distance from the National Mall. Great neighborhood with restaurants and groceries not too far. Hosts were very nice and always available. Parking permit can be issued with no additionnal cost, which is very useful.

The crew was simply amazing! Nice people always willing to help! The location is just great for the price, it take about 25 mins to walk down to the white house and the national mall. The area around the hotel is very nice with lots of bars, stores, restaurants, plus a CVS, a Trader Joe's and a Safeway store! Couldn't ask for more! Also its very safe to walk in the neighborhood at night. This location is just a couple streets from one bus line and the other bus line goes right in front of the hotel.
Modern, clean with attentive and very helpful staff. Large room withe comfortable bed, plenty of towels, room safe and immaculately clean. Excellent location with a free shuttle to the National Mall. Plenty of good restaurants with a guide prepared by the hotel.
Free parking, delicious and hygienic breakfast, responsive staff, daily housekeeping and quiet through out my stay! The hotel was located at 20-25 mins away from National mall, DC.
We were a couple meeting a friend in Washington and, therefore, needed two beds in separate living spaces. We also wanted something relatively close to the national museums on the National Mall. Our friend is disabled, so it was important to have an apartment on the ground floor or accessible by elevator. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Our disabled friend arrived earlier than we did (due to a 3-hour delay with Amtrak), and the concierge was absolutely brilliant in helping him check in. Thank you.
I really liked the whole concept of the Hotel. Fast and easy Check-in/-out procedure, very friendly staff, great breakfast, my room was perfect for alone travel, very comfortable and i didn't heard a single sound from rooms nearby. The iPad control of the room worked great, but there are also standard switches for the lights. Metro station is nearby -5 minute walk, as well as the National Mall - 10 minute walk. If i visit Washington d.c again i would chose this hotel.
