The room is very nice, with a lot of light. The bed is very comfortable, and we had a balcony with a view of the llama field and of the water. The breakfast delivered to the door is tasty, if a little light.

This is a stunning location outside of downtown Mendocino. We (a family of 5) were looking for something more private as we started a two-week road trip to the Pacific Northwest. This exceeded our expectations—it was very clean and modern. We were all a bit sad we only stayed one night, so we hope to return Labor Day weekend for a longer stay. The main town and the beaches are all very close by if you are driving. I would recommend it to couples and families.

The MCBG are exquisite, beautiful in every season.
The MCBG are exquisite, beautiful in every season. Leave plenty of time to visit, as there are many meandering paths and hidden treats to find. Be sure to walk all the way to the end for the dramatic show. It's well worth it.
