North Cliff Hotel, hotel in Fort Bragg

Located on the Mendocino Coast, North Cliff Hotel offers rooms with views of the Pacific Ocean and Noyo Bay. Glass Beach is 1.5 mi from the hotel.

The location, room, staff, and town are the reasons any traveler would immensely appreciate the North Cliff Hotel. We were on a month-long journey exploring California and came upon this jewel of a hotel. We were immensely satisfied of the accommodations, views, and restaurants - our winner as the best hotel we stayed at from our stays in South Lake Tahoe, LA, Joshua Tree, San Simeon, Monterey, Napa Valley, and Bodega Bay. The sunset views were awesome, and the seals were delightful.

the Mendocino Coastal Botanical Gardens were great. We were there in time for the Labor Day parade which was a lot of fun. Beaches were fantastic. Mayan Fusion and The Wharf were 2 great restaurants.

This property is in a great location to walking to the beach and walking the cliffs above the beach. All the rooms have a sitting area that views the beach and ocean. We loved the Princess Seafood restaurant in Ft. Bragg.

Weather is always perfect; I love fog and a hike with ocean views. The Skunk Trail Railbikes by Moonlight was soooo fun! Do not skip on Cafe 1 or Egghead's Restaurants for breakfast, and the "The Pub" North Coast Brewing Company or Piaci Pub and Pizzeria for lunch or dinner. (Also, don't forget to bring "cash only" for a few of these places!)

Fort Bragg has lots of services which was convenient.

Fort Bragg has lots of services which was convenient. There are lots of coastal access opportunities both right in the city and state beaches both north and south within 10 minutes or less. There was good fresh seafood but not much 'fine dining.' It felt authentic with many working people, not a high end resort area. Cheaper than Mendocino and Little River areas which are south of here.

    Ft. Bragg is really nice.

Ft. Bragg is really nice. Glass Beach is beautiful but only one spot is kind of handicap accessible. Looks like other beach accesses are not really accessible. Weather was great, parking can be challenging.

The hotel was in a pretty good spot and it was a short drive to most things we wanted to do. There is a fridge and microwave in the room and this is very handy.
