Nice hotel in a vibrant neighborhood (Little Italy, China-Town). Our room was quite small, but everything needed was there. Super fast internet and very friendly staff. Good choice to explore Manhattan.

I enjoyed my stay at this lovely spacious hotel in Brooklyn. Previously a warehouse, it has been modified in trendy fashion with very interesting decor. The bed was extremely comfortable and my deluxe loft suite had everything one could want in a studio type apartment. Everything worked well and the staff were very accommodating. It is on the verge of a previously industrial area that has become more gentrified. Walk in one direction and you have warehouses but in the other, you have beautiful McGolrick Park with a supermarket, coffee shops & numerous eateries very close by.

The hotel was amazing. So clean, decent sized room, lovely staff, the concierge in particularly couldn’t do enough and were so welcoming. Perfect location for the subway to get just about anywhere.

The James is a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. Only a 5 minute walk to Madison Square Park, Eataly, the subway and many other amenities, it was central and convenient for our trip. The staff were super helpful, the room huge (by New York standards), the beds comfortable and the lobby was a lovely place to relax. The room was also really quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Great location just a block from the Flat Iron Building and Madison Square Park. For New York the room was a decent size with innovative ways to store luggage (under bed). Great shower and bathroom. Comfortable bed and daily linen service. We couldn't fault it for the price. Breakfast was alao good as was the bar. Staff were all very helpful. the view from the 29th floor was worth paying extra for.
Good location near restaurants, bars and tourist attractions i.e. Lexington Iron Building, Madison Square Park and within a walk of 30 minutes to other great tourist spots. The hotel has its own water fountain which is handy to fill up your water bottle. Had a small room where you could make your tea or coffee. Price is reasonable for New York and its location. There is a lovely black cat that you can find anywhere in the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was cleaned daily.
