Wow!! Just returned to England after our California road trip and I have to say this hotel was my highlight! We had an ocean view room and WOW it was incredible. I would 100% recommend paying extra for the ocean view. We spent a morning just sitting in the bay window watching the ocean and the wildlife with the binoculars provided and it was just magical! I love the fact that breakfast is served in our rooms as well, it made the stay feel more intimate. The staff were lovely and polite and really made us feel welcome. We hope to return back to this gem one day!

Very nice small Inn! Perfect Location in Walking Distance to the Carnary street. Very friendly staff. The rooms are very clean and very big compared with other hotels. Also very good breakfast and a nice afternoon tea time / wine if you prefer. Parking is additional costs in the hotel owned garage but in the side street next to it, free parking.
When we go to Monterey again we will book the Victorian Inn again. Thank you for the nice stay!

Have a picnic or grab a coffee and treat to sit and watch nature and people depending on the time of day you go. Grab a kayak and take a ride on the water and view sea ottors. If warm do grab a swim. Great restaurant which was the original Bath House has great food!

The main advantage was the location. Close to 17 miles drive. Close to the sunset beach. Close to Lovers Point etc. I like the type of the facility, the silence, the good continental breakfast.
We had a wonderful stay at the Martine Inn. We had a room facing the courtyard, which was wonderful and peaceful. Breakfast was a treat, served in a room with stunning views of the sea—absolutely gorgeous!!! We appreciated the convenience of leaving our car in the hotel's parking lot, allowing us to explore the beautiful surroundings on foot. During our visit, we were thrilled to see many seals and their adorable pups playing on the sandy area between the hotel and Lovers Point! We were thoroughly pleased with our experience!
Location is great. Short walk to Lovers Point, downtown, and many local restaurants. Very charming hotel. Fantastic staff! The room is very charming and the bathroom and shower were nice.
I was working remotely from the inn. The internet was exceptional, location was unbeatable as it was close to Pacific Grove facilities (about a 10-15mins walk) and close to Assomar beach (about 10mins walking). It was about 30mins walking to Cannery Row and about 20mins to Lovers Point. The staff was very friendly and helpful too.
