We wanted to find it on our way to the Oakland airport. It was early morning and suddenly we were driving down the corkscrew road! It was so fun. My kids loved the experience. And doing it at sunrise was perfect!

We took the trolley from Ghirardelli Square up the hill to Lombard and walked down. I cannot imagine driving in SF. We saw several folks on Segways come down the hill. They looked like they had a great time. Beautifully landscaped area.

Hire one of those little yellow three wheeler cars. The best way to see San Francisco. Good fun and comes with a talking GPS that tells you all you need to know on the way. And you get to drive down Lombard street without having to wait. Awesome experience.

Great views of the city from streets to the North and South. Less tourists to spoil the view. Walk down, not up. Walk down the right side to get better photos if visiting early in the day, that way the sun will not be in your lens.

This hotel is well located with shops, restaurants, Pier 39, Pier 33, Lombard Street and other cool
places within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and clean.
Amazing location for exploring the city. Pretty much everything in walking distance. Lombard Street itself is also very nice.
The beds are very comfortable & stable (dont shake like a lot of hostel beds) and able to close them off with the curtain. Very convenient to charge phones etc., every bed has a little “tray” attached to the wall with power outlets and USB connections.
Overall the rooms were very clean.
The staff and the location are absolutely excellent. Free parking! The rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to look out over the bridge and City. Lombard Street is chock full of motels, and we've tried a lot of them over the years. This one, I'd return to

Place was clean and had been recently renovated.
The room felt newly refurbished, bed was very comfortable. Room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, tv, usb ports, hair dryer. Good location, a little noisy with traffic but didn’t bother us. 15 minute walk to Ghirardelli. Bike hire only the next block over. Famous Lombard Street road is further up hill, including a cable car stop. Has a few surrounding restaurants and delis.
The rooms are freshly renovated. They are clean and comfortable. Parking spaces are available in the garage. Rooms are cleaned (only) on request. Safe and refrigerator available.We were able to store our luggage there after checking out. Great location on Lombard Street.

The property ambience and the lobby on the 1st (Ground) floor was good but generally crowded. Outdoor sitting with bonfire was a bonus. The breakfast was excellent. A lot of varieties. Luggage store services were excellent, quick and safe. That helped a lot.
