We were only in Lake Placid for one day but would recommend the hotel. It is in a convenient location to walk into town, although there is a steep hill to walk back!!
The lake beach area was great but travellers should be aware this isn't close to the hotel.
Perfectly good but not quite a boutique hotel. What raises it above standard is the location at the heart of town with free parking plus the excellent lake placid brewery pub next door. You can put your name on the waitlist at the pub, which for its great beer and good food is worth waiting for, then saunter down when they text you that your table is ready.
A stunning place in a green area 5 minutes drive from the center of Lake Placid. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with all the necessary devices for a family of 5 people.
Lovely large rooms, with excellent heating in the winter and perfect amenities such as coffee maker and microwave. The location is ideal for anyone visiting Lake Placid. Parking right outside and shops/restaurants in walking distance.

Best value for the $$. Can rent boats at location, has an indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, numerous outdoor chairs, fire pit, grill. No other Motel-Hotel offers these things. Beautiful location right on shore of Lake Placid.
This was our second time here. The room and hotel in general were very clean. Great location with easy walking access to downtown Lake Placid. We used the pool which was really nice and the breakfast was delicious in cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
