The room was newly renovated and clean. I liked the decor. When my husband and I travel, it's about the destination. So to find such a nice, clean place to lay our heads down after a long day of exploring was an added bonus! And a view of Hunter mountain from the window of all the rooms?? You can't beat it! Also the check-in, check out process was easy. Although we never met our host, they did check in and made themselves available if we needed anything.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time at Xenia! Super cozy and welcoming environment! The owners were wonderful and extremely friendly. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I were only in town 2 nights; I wish we could’ve stayed longer!! We got fresh towels after our first night. Within 10 minutes we had everything we needed- skiing at Hunter Mountain, beer and wine shop, markets, restaurants, etc. the view from the back porch was stunning!! Such a relaxing getaway celebrating our anniversary! We’d love to come back, everything was perfect!!
Our entire experience was great. They accommodated our very late check in. Decoration in the hotel was super cozy and updated. Room was much larger than we anticipated which was great for our luggage and ski equipment. 4 mins to Hunter mountain and close to some great restaurants.
We loved the proximity to Hunter Mountain as well as the Lodge. The accommodations were cozy and it was safe for our two toddlers. We were also able to bring our dog along which was awesome to have her with us for the holidays. All of our family members were able to have their own space and there was plenty of room to park. We enjoyed all of the fun events the lodge had to offer and our kids had a blast in the giant tub in the main bedroom!
Hunter Mountain Lodge is a great place to stay in Catskills. Very peaceful yet close to all important trails, extremely clean and very kind staff. Highly recommend this place, we'll surely be visiting again!
Location is unbeatable! Five minutes drive from Hunter Mountain, and situated along the banks of a gorgeous little river which was frozen and very pretty while we were there.
The rooms are simple and the decorative style a bit kitsch, but they are spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the room toasty warm, even while it was freezing outside!
Really nice to find a dog friendly hotel too - lovely grounds to walk our dog on.
