Classic room, super comfy bed and beautiful bedding with really great bathroom. Quiet and tranquil and in great part of Pacific Heights. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared - loads of fruit and great local yoghurt, had great spinach omelette and good coffee.

Easy to reach, excellent position close to lot of facilities. Parking is included and considering you're in SF it's well worthed. Chestnut Street is right around the corner and it's plenty of shops, bar and restaurant. Bus stops are very close: you can reach every part of the city with ease (if you're planning to use public transports for a day, be sure to get the daily pass ticket and not the single run one). Comfy bed, bathroom is practical and neat clean . Overall the room is spacious and well furnished. Staff are kind and helpful

Brilliant cafe with organic and different foods, exciting drinks and smoothies to get the energy up for walking the bridge. You might want a mask for the fumes but it is great fun. Read the signs in the car park as there are quite a few break ins into cars so take nothing expensive to leave in the car.

Location good for Alcatraz trips, Pier 39 and Golden Gate Bridge. Unable to access the free bikes advertised as they went out early but lots of bike hire companies nearby. Staff really helpful and friendly. Free coffee in mornings in bar area and free milk and cookies in the evening. Just had a lovely feel to it. Everywhere seemed clean
Very convenient location for those travelling with public transportation. Bus 28 takes you to Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Bridge, and the bus stop is just steps away.
This hostel was one of the most spacious and comfortable that I've been to! The location is also nice, easily accessible by bus to reach other parts of SF, very close to Golden Gate Bridge.
The location was great central to all the places we wished to visit also not far from the Golden gate bridge 🤩 bus stops a few minutes away & a launderette close by so a bonus
The location was absolutely fab - 3 mins from Ghiardelli Square and with the famous trams on your doorstep. The suites were so well equipped and really spacious and the rooftop terrace with views of Alcatraz and Golden Gate bridge was out of this world and will live long in the memory.
Our flight arrived at 7am and the staff allowed us to leave our bags while we looked around the local area. We were able to check in 2 hours early when our room was ready.
The room overlooking Chestnut St with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge was clean and comfortable, but there was a bit of city noise in the early hours of our first night, garbage trucks and the like.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We had a private room in this hostel which was perfect for our 3 night stay and had a view overlooking Alcatraz and stepping out of the hostel into the park gave incredible views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge. Parking was fabulous in a very safe area which was great for peace of mind given the situation with car break ins in San Francisco at the moment. Security on site was great too.
The room was comfortable, with a nice street view. The location of the hotel is at the main city streets and if you took the hop on hop off excursions, one of the stop is actually at the hotel. The front desk staff named Indy is very helpful and accommodating. There is a deck upstairs for taking some nice pictures with the faraway Golden Gate Bridge as the background. Free parking spots are also available.
The location of the hotel is excellent- not far to walk to the Golden Gate Bridge or Fishermans wharf. It’s easy to get to for most of the main sightseeing locations. The hotel building has some original and appealing features, and has much potential to return to its former glory. It just needs an investor to help renovate and bring it back to life which I really hope will happen as it has suffered a great deal following the 2020 pandemic consequences . The staff are very welcoming and friendly.
