This is a lovely hotel. The reception staff is extremely nice and caring. The rooms are wonderful. The Breakfast is great with a wide selection. The location can not be beat with such a close proximity to the main Bar Harbor Streets. There is a pool and hot tub and very importantly there is parking!

Breakfast was very good. They had everything we wanted and needed. Our room was prefect, comfortable an very clean. We were happy about the bus service that stopped right in front of our hotel ( free). It was a lot easier to get to Bar Harbor center.

The location was perfect to access Acadia National Park and get to downtown Bar Harbor in the evening for dinner. Parking was plentiful and available. The balcony view of Frenchman Bay was wonderful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. There were options available for everyone in our group and we all enjoyed it.
Upper courtyard room doesn't have a view (just trees off balcony) but a short walk up to the Looking Glass Restaurant there is a large deck with views of Frenchman Bay. Our room was comfortable and included micro & refrig. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Used the bikes to go into Bar Harbor for lunch. Island Explorer picks up in the WVI parking lot so very convenient. Great Room has piano music 6 days/week. Quick access to Acadia NP.
Friendly staff for hotel check in, good breakfast variety/coffee, spacious 3rd floor room, and view of Frenchman Bay were definitely the pros. Acadia NP entrance less than a 10 minute car drive. Tried 4 different restaurants for our 4 night visit, and all were delicious. Special shout out for the lightly battered/fried lobster tail tacos at Testa's and the lobster rolls at Side Street Cafe.
Each room we rented had a balcony with a Beautiful view of Frenchman Bay, Bar Island and Bar Harbor. Each King room had a massage chair that functioned like the chairs in a nail salon. All of the rooms were spacious with a sitting area and a fireplace. All of the staff that I spoke to was genuinely friendly and accommodating. The view from The Looking Glass Restaurant was phenomenal.
Stunning view of Frenchman Bay from large balcony area and through sliding door windows in bedroom and living room. Very quiet. Very clean and well presented.
