My husband and I LOVED staying here for our honeymoon🤍 The room was so clean, spacious, charming, and we loved the fireplace. The decor both in the rooms and in the common areas was beautiful. The ambiance was 1000/10. Just staying in the room and relaxing was an activity in of itself. Everything that you would want to do in Bar Harbor is walking distance from the inn.
Breakfast and tea time treats were all homemade, and outstanding (my personal favorite was the orange blondie and the chocolate cake with almond frosting) The innkeeper, Chris, is so kind and welcoming. He gave us recommendations of restaurants to go to (we came in late October so many places were closed), and every single place he recommended was excellent. We felt so comfortable here and had a very hard time leaving this beautiful place….we will be back soon, and I can’t wait 🤍

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were able to accommodate a last minute check-in during Thanksgiving which we were very thankful for. They also let us take three rooms next to each other.

What's not to love? Charming hotel, kind staff, breakfast with many "allergen aware" options, plus on site EV charging. Great location in town as well! We will be back.

No breakfast. The view was really nice got to see ocean.
The location was perfect to access Acadia National Park and get to downtown Bar Harbor in the evening for dinner. Parking was plentiful and available. The balcony view of Frenchman Bay was wonderful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. There were options available for everyone in our group and we all enjoyed it.
Upper courtyard room doesn't have a view (just trees off balcony) but a short walk up to the Looking Glass Restaurant there is a large deck with views of Frenchman Bay. Our room was comfortable and included micro & refrig. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Used the bikes to go into Bar Harbor for lunch. Island Explorer picks up in the WVI parking lot so very convenient. Great Room has piano music 6 days/week. Quick access to Acadia NP.
Friendly staff for hotel check in, good breakfast variety/coffee, spacious 3rd floor room, and view of Frenchman Bay were definitely the pros. Acadia NP entrance less than a 10 minute car drive. Tried 4 different restaurants for our 4 night visit, and all were delicious. Special shout out for the lightly battered/fried lobster tail tacos at Testa's and the lobster rolls at Side Street Cafe.
