We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. Modern, very clean, nicely decorated and safe. We were always happy to enter the hotel again to smell the subtle scent everywhere in the building. Coffee, tea and water from 7am to 10pm, delicious breakfast from a local non-profit bakery. The owners were very friendly and always happy to help.
The overall concept of this hotel is just perfect. A parking garage behind a gate, a lobby within the building (not on the ground level) and the obvious effort and love that went into it.
If we decide to visit LA again, we will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is well-located from the perspective of easy access to many places. It is close to the skid row, a not very nice place in LA, since there are many homeless people, which can sometimes be somehow pushy, but to be blunt all LA seems to be in the same situation: for me it was fine (and at least the streets downtown don’t stink as in, say, west hollywood).
The room is very comfy, clean, nicely decorated, quite technological and well-organized. You might hear some music from outside but the walls seem tight so when I had to sleep I had no issue.
The staff at the welcome desk was also very friendly and helpful.
