It was a typical Taiwanese breakfast and it was very pretty, they have a little bread on the side for those who wanted that. The little spa was cosy and the entire premise is clean, aesthetically very pleasing and zen. Toilets were amazing. It really felt like we were having a holiday! The clouds would cover the top of the mountains making the place feel very special. Kids will love the double storey rooms, space to run around.

Our hosts were generous and recommended hikes for us nearby at the Gold Museum
The breakfast tray was an interesting idea, but not enough food on the tray. The location is right next to the Gold Museum and close to the entry to Teapot Mountain, a good location for visiting these two places. The hotel was neat and modern.
Great location to explore Jiufen and easy to catch the bus to Gold museum and Ruilang for Pinxi train.
Modern and very clean, spacious seating in reception area, fantastic breakfast included.
The owner was really warm and caring. She met us on the street so we could have an easier time getting there, and told us about the history of the building. The antique furnishings were really atmospheric and beautiful, very artisanal. We really liked the rustic yet comfortable nature of the decor. The location is good if you want to go the Gold museum, but not very convenient for Jiufen Old Street. There is parking.
