Upper tier buzzy with trams and hundreds of locals fishing. Lower tier has many restaurants. We ate there twice (once very good and fair prices, the other OK food but ridiculously expensive). Moral is do careful research and check prices, especially fish and drinks. Some places are very pushy.

Avoid eating in one of these restaurants if you want to save your budget! Much better to try the experience of a fishbread on the nearby boats for as little as 50 turkish lira, a very live experience among local people. This makes the difference between a real voyager and a reach tourist

The area is amazing, there are restaurants and shops around. Few steps out you will be seeing Galata Tower. Right down the hill you’ll be at Galata bridge where we enjoy passing by everyday watching locals fishing. The location is amazing. Busy but not too crowded. We would like to send our personal thanks to Mr. Ismael who have been very accommodating our stay, he’s very humble and always willing to help. Thank you very much for taking care of us throughout the stay.

Ideally located for prime attractions and only a few steps away from the main tram line leading down to Galata Bridge and across Golden Horn. Staff and manager Bayram couldnt do enough for us & were a pleasure to deal with.
Great location looking over the Galata Bridge & big, bright windows. The rooms were not huge, but very comfortably laid out & easy to be in for 2 people. Modern, clean & nice design. Karakoy and the ferries on the doorstep, & an easy stroll to Eminonu and Sultanhamet

The location is perfect—right at the water's edge near the Galata Bridge, so it was easy to explore the city. Even though it’s a 4-star hotel, the service felt like 10 stars. Everything was seamless, the rooms were spotless, and the attention to detail was next level. It was one of those stays where everything just clicked, and I can’t wait to go back!
