Overall, this was a lovely hotel in a great location that was very close to a lot of fun neighborhoods and attractions. The room was very stylish and the beds very comfortable. We also had to travel a couple of blocks to get breakfast since their own restaurant was under construction. That said, the breakfast was amazing and well worth it.

All Staff very helpful and friendly !! Front desk recommended a great restaurant, booked a good tour for us , every interaction with them was great. Excellent breakfast with very attentive wait staff !! Location very convenient , close to all main attractions and public transportation but still on a quiet street . 100% recommend Regie Hotel.

Upper tier buzzy with trams and hundreds of locals fishing. Lower tier has many restaurants. We ate there twice (once very good and fair prices, the other OK food but ridiculously expensive). Moral is do careful research and check prices, especially fish and drinks. Some places are very pushy.

Avoid eating in one of these restaurants if you want to save your budget! Much better to try the experience of a fishbread on the nearby boats for as little as 50 turkish lira, a very live experience among local people. This makes the difference between a real voyager and a reach tourist

The general location of this hotel is excellent, short walk to Galata and the Galata bridge to access Istanbul old town. The hotel is surrounded by trade shops so can get quite busy and a bit noisy early in the morning. The self catering facilities were extremely limited and while not luxurious the apartment was clean and serviceable for a short stay in Istanbul
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mest. The location is perfect - a 1 min walk to an entrance to the Spice Bazaar, short walking distance to the the Galata bridge/tower and Karakoy and a short walk to the tram station (which quickly gets you to both Taksim and Blue Mosque / Hagia Sofia. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious!
Very well located accomodation, in walking distance from the Sultan Ahmet park and Galata Bridge, also close to tram stations from where you can get to most touristic places. There are lots of restaurants near by, open until late. The view was also quite nice, as seen in the pictures, from the room and also from the hotel terrace on the top floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always provided an excellent service and we also arranged the transportation to and from the airport, which was convenient.
My stay at this hotel in Istanbul was exceptional. The owners were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful, making me feel right at home. In the morning, we enjoyed a traditional Turkish breakfast, which was a delightful start to the day. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to Galata Bridge and a 5-minute walk to Galata Tower. If I visit Istanbul again, I will definitely stay here, and I highly recommend it to friends.
Great place to stay with family. Staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Centrally located and very near Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, Walls of Constantinople, Grand bazar, can take tram from here to Karakoy for Galata tower, Galata Bridge, fron Eminence square take another tram line going straight (not in Karakoy direction) for Balat. Staff has introduced us very good restaurant, Massa Bistro, just behind the hotel.
