It was my second time here and I absolutely loved it again. Location wise perfect, you get the view of the most beautiful mosques while also being super close to Galata tower and Taksim.
The staff are very kind and helpful, special thanks to Sedat for choosing a very special room for me, I was travelling alone and staying in the room with the sea view made the experience unforgettable.

Upper tier buzzy with trams and hundreds of locals fishing. Lower tier has many restaurants. We ate there twice (once very good and fair prices, the other OK food but ridiculously expensive). Moral is do careful research and check prices, especially fish and drinks. Some places are very pushy.

Avoid eating in one of these restaurants if you want to save your budget! Much better to try the experience of a fishbread on the nearby boats for as little as 50 turkish lira, a very live experience among local people. This makes the difference between a real voyager and a reach tourist

It's very clean, big rooms, close to galata tower and galata bridge, and istiklal road, cold store front the hotel, elevetor, staff, they give us one hour late check out,
The apartment is so close to everything. You can walk to Galata tower, Galata bridge, Old city, and Taksim Square. There plenty of places to eat, and the tram is a 2 minute walk.
A fantastic historic hotel with a great view over the „Golden Horn“ only 3 minutes from the lively Isteklal Street and 2 minutes from Tünel (the Metro between Isteklal and Galata Bridge). Incredible variety concerning the breakfast.
Breakfast was excellent, really outstanding, for variety and quality. As a minor suggestion, the coffee station was good, but not at the same level of excellence of all the rest.
The position of the hotel is optimal, at walking distance from a number of sites of interest, and very close to tramways and ferries for other destinations. By the way: walking through the station to reach the dock of ferries or the Galata bridge is per se an interesting walk.
The staff was very kind and careful on arrival and departure and during the sojourn.
Location was perfect for cruise port. We were able to walk there with our bags next morning. Also safe area with great vibe in the evening for bars and restaurants. Easy walk to Galata bridge and for sightseeing on the old town side.
The hotel is in a really beautiful position, right near Galata bridge. Plenty of (tourist trap) restaurant in the neighbors. The view from is amazing and we really love breakfast, maybe the best found in many trips in Istanbul.
The location, near the Sirkeci train station and the Gálata bridge, and also not far from Grand Bazar, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque, among other places of interesse.
The room was not big, but was confortable.
The staff, very friendly, always available to help and to provide al our needs. There was always a surprise wen we returned to the room, tea, coffe, fruit.

Highly recommend exploring the different neighborhoods by foot. We walked down to the ferries from our hotel and then hopped on a ferry over to another part of Istanbul (Üsküdar), Then walked around there, had lunch and then took another ferry to a different location (Käbatas). After exploring around there, we took a taxi to Ïstiklal street. We meandered down to Taksïm Square for people watching and then walked all the way to Galata Tower. We finished by walking across the Galata bridge and back through the Sultanahmet area back to our hotel, after stopping at a rooftop restaurant for dinner first.

People can go to any restaurant, but before the order they must confirm the menu price. I found Asia side is not only cheap but you can get good quality restaurants. I advice try to avoid the fish restaurants under the Galata Bridge as they can trap you very easy.
