I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. What truly stood out, though, was the location—it couldn’t have been better! It was right in the heart of the city, close to major attractions. It made exploring the area so convenient and stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in an unbeatable location!

We stayed at Best Point Hotel Sultanahmet for 9 nights and really enjoyed it. Definitely one of our best stays in Turkey. The location is super central, close to all the main tourist spots, and just a 5-minute walk to the tram.
Breakfast was amazing—so much variety, from savory to sweet (even tho sweets prevail), and the terrace has a beautiful view of the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus. They also do cute decorations for celebrations, like balloons for Valentine’s Day and heart-shaped cakes and food, which was a nice touch.
The staff were super helpful and kind, always there when we needed something. They helped with small things like turning on the element or opening wine right away. Our room was cleaned daily, fresh towels every day, and the bed and pillows were really comfy. Free water, coffee, and tea anytime was a great bonus. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap were unlimited and decent quality.
We had a late flight and asked if we could stay longer, and they offered us the last available room with a hammam for half price, which we really appreciated. No pressure with payment either—we just paid on the last day, and they let us split it between card and cash.
For the price, it’s great value—comfortable, central, and with a really nice atmosphere. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to fam and friends!

Blue Mosque
Constructed between 1609 and 1616, the striking Sultan Ahmed Mosque – or ‘Blue Mosque’ – is still a place of worship today. With no war victories to fund it, this opulent structure had to be paid for straight from the treasury – angering the Ottoman legal scholars of the time! Non-Muslim visitors are encouraged to visit, but should be respectful of the strict dress code.

One of the most sought after architectural wonders.
One of the most sought after architectural wonders. It’s free. But dress appropriately. No bare shoulders, no bare knees and women need a scarf to cover their heads. Best to go prepared but you will also need given disposable covers at the entrance.

There are many many well dressed VERY friendly and helpful men willing to show you around, avoid them, do not talk to them! They are all trying to sell you something. They can get aggressive if you engage them and the try to leave, best to avoid them and keep walking.

As a Lego enthusiast, my visit to the Blue Mosque in...
As a Lego enthusiast, my visit to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul was an experience filled with admiration and inspiration. The architectural grandeur and intricate design of the mosque immediately sparked ideas of how such a masterpiece could be recreated in Lego form.
The Blue Mosque, with its cascading domes and six slender minarets, presents a fascinating challenge from a Lego-building perspective. The symmetry and balance in its design, a hallmark of Islamic architecture, would require careful planning and a keen eye for detail to replicate using Lego bricks. The mosque's exterior, characterized by its harmonious proportions and majestic curves, would be an exciting and rewarding project to undertake, demanding the use of various shapes and sizes of Lego pieces.
Inside, the mosque's vast interior, dominated by the large central dome, is adorned with thousands of blue Iznik tiles. Capturing the essence of this intricate tile work in Lego would be a remarkable feat. The play of light through the 260 stained glass windows, which adds a dynamic element to the mosque's interior, could be imaginatively recreated using translucent Lego pieces to simulate the effect of light filtering through.
Moreover, the challenge of recreating the spiritual and serene ambiance of the mosque in a Lego model is intriguing. While Lego is often seen as a playful medium, it also offers immense potential for creating models that evoke a sense of reverence and peace, much like the atmosphere inside the Blue Mosque.
In essence, the Blue Mosque, as a subject for a Lego model, offers a rich blend of architectural complexity, historical depth, and artistic beauty. It stands as a testament to the creative possibilities that Lego offers to builders who are passionate about capturing the essence of the world's architectural wonders in brick form.

Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination...
Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. This is the first time I entered inside Blue Mosque. It was 28 July 2023, Friday, we went inside Blue mosque before Jummah Prayer. We performed Jummah prayer and felt very blessed.

The Sultan Suleyman Palace Hotel & Spa is located in the old town of Istanbul, just a 10-minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The staff has been very kind and friendly to us at all times, and they thoughtfully offered us a room with better views because of my birthday. The breakfast was a delicious buffet, featuring a selection of tasty Turkish dishes that changed from day to day. The room was very clean. Highly recommended hotel!

I spent three very comfortable nights here during a chilly January in Istanbul. The staff are great and the hotel is well located for nearby restaurants as well as for access to the main tourist sights such as Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. It happened to be my birthday while I was there and I returned to my room to find a lovely piece of cake and candles. The staff are very thoughtful and truly helpful with everything.
The hotel location was great, just few meters from historic blue mosque and Hagia Sofia. It was quiet but at the same time very close to major attractions and restaurants. The Turkish breakfast was amazing ... good food, smiling faces and the view of the blue mosque. The Turkish coffee with Turkish delight on the side was just amazing. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything. The icing on the cake was .... a parting gift from the hotel.... box of Turkish delight and Istanbul souvenir.
I had an amazing stay at Angel’s Home Hotel in Istanbul. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel completely at home. The rooms were spotless, cosy, and beautifully decorated.
The rooftop terrace was a highlight, offering stunning views and a delicious breakfast. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
