Loved the staff - all of them super friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel was spotless and our room was immaculate every time we came back with our books placed upon our pillows.
The hotel is in a good location with only a short walk to the river, Chinatown, Talat Noi and the nearest MRT Station. IconSiam Mall is also very easy to get to from the pier by the Sheraton Hotel and at 6 baht is very cheap ( access the hop-on/off river boat from IconSiam)

This was one of our favourite hotels we stayed in whilst travelling Thailand. The staff were so helpful from the second we got there, were able to answer any questions and helped us navigate the sky train. The train is just a 2 minute walk away, connecting you to the rest of Bangkok and the airport. The hotel is in a great location with everything you need nearby. The hotel room was stunning, the bathroom was specious and it felt luxurious. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable ever! The rooftop pool was a lovely bonus and was very quiet. We wish we could have stayed here longer.

Nothing great -- we weren't able to go inside so it was just a tour of the outside of the buildings. The best site was the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which was stunning, but you weren't able to take any pictures of the buddha itself.

Very beautiful but very crowded.
Very beautiful but very crowded. Many other temples and palaces in the city are as beautiful and less crowded making for a nicer experience. The traditional dance experience included in entrance ticket the best, don't miss.

I think there is enough written about this incredible place but I want to put some light on "Queen Sirikit Textile Museum" which is easily overlooked because it is not well known and it's is a bit hidden on the grounds of the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. The entrance ticket for the Grand Palace is also valid for the textile Museum but you are also able to visit the Museum on its own for 150 THB.
It is situated in a beautifully restored colonial-style 2 story building from 1870 which was the former Ministry of Finance.
The museum collects, displays and preserves textiles from South East-, South- and East-Asia with a special emphasis on textiles and garments from the Royal Court since ~1960. It's beautifully arranged with a lot of interactive information on numerous little touch-screens! It was Queen Sirikit's endeavor to rediscover almost lost Thai textile- and fabric-making and revived these processes all over the country.
The museum also hosts an education studio, a lecture hall and Thailands first dedicated textile conservation lab. In the Museum shop on the ground floor you can buy high quality textiles, accessories, table cloths, shawls, silk by meter and many more beautiful items.
The intricacy of different techniques of fabric weaving is incredible and explains why these pieces of art are so expensive and unique!

Looked forward to seeing the Grand palace but wouldn’t allow us to enter due to dress code ! Please note we had full length trousers and full length top with additional long scarf around arms and shoulders. We were shouted at to leave as scarves don’t class as cover up. (No skin was visible apart from our faces) we entered peacefully and left without questioning) this was just myself and my 22 year old daughter. Perhaps if the scarf was purchased from one of the vendors outside this may have changed their view about letting us enter. I researched the dress code well in advance and made sure we were entering with correct wear. Disappointed ☹️

The location was perfect for sightseeing the Grand Palace, reclining Buddha, China Town, the river. We were only on Bangkok for a short time but we return again and stay here.
The breakfast was amazing.
Lovely boutique hotel with pleasant staff. Clean rooms. Excellent location in the Old town. 5 mins walk to Khao San road. 20 mins walk to the Grand Palace. 5 mins tuk tuk ride to the Phra Arthit pier where you get the blue line ferry to many attractions. Would stay again :)
Comfratable place, location is good, quiet, 5 minutes taxi drive from Khaosan road Laudry across the street by per 1.5 USD/kg or 2 USD/kg in the hotel. Green market with street food in the morning hours just across the street as well as boat stations for Grand Palace etc. 10 minutes by foot. You can leave your suitcases and have a shower after checking out.
Excellent stay at Casa Vimaya Riverside. From start to finish, this hotel exceeded expectations. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, good selection of breakfast available. Excellent location being walking distance from Khao San Road and The Grand Palace. Will recommend.
The hotel was nice but basic. The swimming pool area was beautiful, the water was rather cold (it was January). The staff at the reception were very helpful. The hotel is close to the Sathorn Pier (however, you need to cross the bridge or take a ferry) so it was easy to get to other locations by boat but it took over 30 min by boat to get to Wat Arun or the Grand Palace. The area is not particularly nice but it is close to Iconsiam.
The location was ideal. Grand Palace, markets and other must see places were in walking distance yet the hotel was peacefully tucked away down a side street. A calm oasis.
Beautiful ambience, the staff are so lovely and the hotel very homely.
Central location, super swimming pool on the roof open until midnight, fantastic view from roof over towards Grand Palace and city skyline.
Little extras provided, toothbrush and paste, swim towel, coffee, milk, water and kettle provided.
Met on busy Khoasan Road by staff (kind lady helped me with my suitcase)to show us into hotel.
Amazing hospitality by the owner and her family. After a day in Bangkok it feels like coming home in a welcoming family. We stayed in the private room 402. The area is just perfect; very local, close to China Town and main attractions in Talad Noi. You can quickly move to main attractions such as Grand Palace by ferry, which is 5 mins walk from the hotel. Just next to the hotel is a small street food market, where you can eat good Thai food for cheap.
Everything was perfect! Gorgeous boutique hotel near Grand Palace with wonderful staff!
Bed was very comfortable and the pool is a lovely plus! Would definitely stay here again if we were passing through Bangkok.
