We knew that the hotel is located on the Main Street, very close to everything so it was one of the decision makers. We visited your coffee place few times before so we were sure it will be quality guaranteed but not in our wildest dreams we were expecting such a high level of professionalism, comfort and modern amenities. We were slightly sceptic staying in an antique looking hotel (previous experiences) but everything was modern, clean, unique… truly a luxurious boutique experience. Thank you we will stay again!

This hotel is unique and exceptional. There is no reason not to stay here. Communication with the hotel was excellent, and our welcome was warm and friendly.
The hotel is totally unique, and an old building where every corner has interesting features and furniture. The long walk up the wooden stairs is wonderful.
The room was light, warm, comfortable, and huge. The bed was very comfortable and views over the city. Location is also perfect. There is nothing I would change, I just recommend this place

Super friendly staff and great spa facilities included in the stay! The restaurant did excellent dinners and good breakfast. On check in we were told that the room we had booked (a double with ac) was unavailable due to technical issues. They upgraded us to a suite for our entire stay for no extra charge!

In today's structure of the city, its place seems like characterless to build a castle here, and its history explains this. Before it was built, this was the place of execution with a gallows. This bothered Borbála Rössel, a very rich lady, who thus ordered to build a castle here. She became the 'Witch of the New Castle'. Later it turned out that the place is good for observing the city (e.g. if there was a fire, the bells of this castle alarmed the people; so not only a coincidence that the Piarg Gate of the old city walls is also here). Today it is a host of exhibitions.
