Very convenient location between the train/bus station and the center, and with easy driving access to further explore the country. We booked with parking included, this was a good deal, there are a couple of reserved parking spots right outside the hotel. Parking in Slovenia otherwise is expensive.
The room was large and comfortable with plenty of floor space for bags. 24 hour reception was handy with late arrival/early departure. Upon very early check out to catch a train, we were given some water to take with us which was very thoughtful and nice.

We were impressed with the Cad Hotel and felt welcome to return. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean, we really liked the bed mattress (not too hard, not too soft). Great breakfast, no buffet but they make and bring dishes upon order. The menu is wide so everyone will find something they want.
