We most enjoyed our day trip to Lake Bled by coach from Ljubljana Bus Station, which took about one hour. It is so beautiful and peaceful by Lake Bled. We walked around the lake, around 6km in distance, and also climbed up to the Lake Bled Castle for a bird's eye view of the lake. There are rowing boats to hire if one wishes to venture onto the water and also a lovely section of the lake where they are trying to encourage wildlife, including nesting birds. We really enjoyed our day out at Lake Bled.

Getting around was easy. Nice city centre, castle on top of hill overlooking. Great pub, Sir William's Pub and a great take away place that cooked a local dish, a pastry filled with anything you wanted, great filler after a few beers.

Ljubljana is a lovely little city- safe, walkable and very pretty. The people are very friendly, it’s not overly expensive and the whole place is filled with of bars and restaurants centred along the river. It’s a much nicer experience than Prague or Budapest

Safe is undoubtedly the first adjective, followed by clean. Wandering round in the evening no sign of any excess drinking. The locals were most helpful and the shop staff great. We were - purposely - without a car so our three days were enough but great. An independent trip by bus to beautiful Bled and its Lake and lunch in the superb restaurant on the castle high over the lake was superb. Another - again independent - bus trip to the spectacular Postojna caves was superb. the Xmas market was superb and the views from Ljubljana castle - accessed by funicular - superb.

- The hotel is situated in the city centre, so we could get to our destinations easily.
- The staff was very kind and friendly at the reception, they spoke very well in English.
- They took care of our car; we had to give them the keys so they could park it, but whenever we needed it, they always brought it on time.
- There was a huge variety of breakfast and was very delicious.
The hotel was great, it was very clean and comfortable, the staff is extremely welcoming, nice and helpful. It was a bit outside of the city centre, but it is very close to the highway, and the bus stop to the centre is right outside the hotel. Breakfast had a really nice selection of food, and there were helpful tips and information in our room for getting around Ljubljana.
Good hotel, decent value, nice breakfast, free parking, friendly staff. Travel tip - BicikeLJ bike docking station just outside the hotel which was the best way to get in and out of the city centre, only €1 for a week for unlimited 60 minute cycle rides
The hotel is located in the city centre. It takes you only 5-10 minutes to get to any tourist attraction by foot. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean (hotel provides everyday cleaning).
