Nice, warm, clean hotel in the city center, with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Wifi was excellent, the city center is just a few minutes away. Parking is 14 euros a day and is very convenient when traveling by car. Breakfast was good and tasty. I would definitely recommend it as a base for exploring both Ljubljana and Slovenia.

Situated in Ljubljana, 3.3 km from Ljubljana Train Station, Hotel Čad features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Very helpful and very nice hosts, a clean, spacious, modern room. A lift is I think the fastest I've ever travelled with. Wi-Fi speed is enormously fast (measured about 350 Mbit/s). A breakfast was included and you choose what do you want from the menu (options are numerous), you get a coffee, juice and dessert beside a main breakfast meal. A parking is free of charge and very big too. Highly insulated windows (triple glass), you cannot hear a rain falling outside with the windows closed. No rollbars, but you can make the room totally dark by using thick curtains. I rarely give a ten, but this place deserves nothing less in my opinion.

Hotel Cubo is located in the centre of Ljubljana. It offers modern, air-conditioned rooms with free access to Wi-Fi and a flat-screen cable TV and a fine restaurant.

Room, service and staff were great. Breakfast was the best of all! Location is perfect for exploring Ljubljana's old center. I absolutely reccomend this hotel!

    A very good museum.

    A very good museum. It's funny to see newspapers dating back to 1918 and 1945. Both of the newspapers announced new governments as "Prva narodna vlada Slovenije" (the first people's government of Slovenija). It seems that every new regime proclaimes itself as a people's government as opposed to a former regime that is regarded as no people's government. It testifies to the fact that democracy is hard to establish and that it takes a whole lot of time to create something bearing resemblance to modern democracies, likes of which today's political scientists regard as real democracies.
