St behind it that goes into a Square eventually = 2 entrances from either side of the hotel.
Rooms were comfy & very clean
Not overly large, but ok.
Our's overlooked the River Bank which was lovely, bit noisy @ nt sometimes from the music & concerts for Christmas 🎄
But we weren't bothered by this.
This Position is especially perfect for Christmas season
The breakfast style was Fabulous & a nice change to the usual Buffet, as it was
Al là Carte > it was a bit slow some mornings but not a real bother at all 😊
Staff were warm & welcoming, as helpful, especially the lovely young Receptionist [from Bali]
who went above & beyond with her care for Us; We'd happily stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic to visit early in the day before the crowds get...
Fantastic to visit early in the day before the crowds get there. A lovely cafe for coffee up there too. The Puppet Museum was fantastic to visit and there was instant theatre happening around the place. I had a lovely time here and spent a good couple of hours investigating everything there was to see here.

Take the funicular to the castle, but don't pay for anything more than the view. You won't get to see the chapel, a small history museum, the dungeon, or the viewing tower; but combined these aren't worth the extra price. Note that the Ljubluana Transport Card can be used for both the funicular and admission.

Wonderful.
Wonderful. Very impressed by how the city has integrated modernity into the old castle without making it over commercial, with a lot of thought for access. Lovely cafe. Views are great, I love a funicular and for those who require it, there is the electric train which will also bypass the steps from the funicular exit into the castle

The castle was taken up by the old Funicular or otherwise you can take a long walk up. A truly beautiful view from the top and there is like temporary exhibitions and cafe and castle history in which we didn't see. Take approx up to 2 hour for the journey up.

Definitely worth a walk up the hill to the castle. Lots to see for free without paying an entrance fee to see a few exhibitions. Fantastic views from up here as well. Also a very nice rest area on the grass in the moat with free magazines provided to sit and chill for a while.

Our apartment was very nice and had a lot of amenities such as the dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board etc. As a bigger group, we loved the big table and spacious main room with the kitchen and dining area.
The staff were all lovely and we also got a welcome drink. Although there was a bar downstairs, it was still very peaceful and quiet as we could not hear anything.
Fantastic outside terrace bar/chill area with views of Ljubljana Castle. Friendly & welcoming staff 24/7. Lake bled a must visit if staying in Ljubljana as is the Castle. Really enjoyed the mini break.
Excellent location! Nice, cosy apartment equipped with everything one would need for a stay. View of the river, old town Ljubljana and Ljubljana castle was magnificent, both day and night. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance, as well as Ljubljana Drama, and event site Krizanke,
The view from one of the rooms is Ljubljana Castle, which is beautiful. Then the penthouse itself is so modern and well equipped there is no doubt you will not need to request anything. Even if you did, the host is lovely and will make sure you are comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect, one of the cutest streets in the city and right next to the river area, which is full of restaurants and bars.
